At one point in the mid ninties, they were all the rage. In fact, Drew Barrymore might even be considered the poster child for irreverent grungy chic style and eclectic uses for these chunky boots in such classic films as Mad Love (yum, Chris O’Donnell).

When I first saw this photo of Rachel, I thought – seriously? This is cute little Miss Vixen from The OC? Who has rage blackouts and can’t decide which bonehead guy she wants to date? Seriously?
California cool is out the window and it appears Bilson is instead attempting to bring back the days of Seattle grunge…but with polka dots thrown in the mix.
Though the rumors are true and Rachel is (actually) getting married, I don’t think this new level of sloppy is any way to do anything about a stalled acting career.
