Here is Penelope Cruz at the photocall for Broken Embraces in Cannes…proving to every single woman out there that it doesn’t take much to look absolutely, positively stunning.
Well, actually what she’s proving is that there is such a thing as star power and most women who might attempt to pull off a nude bandage dress like this one would fall flat, fade in with the background, and be totally, utterly forgettable.

Along with the 2009 SAG Award Red Carpet FLOPS, there were some HITS too. Overall, I wasn’t impressed with the dresses that were showcased this year, but there were a few that stuck out to me.
Here are my picks for the 2009 SAG Award HITS.
Penelope Cruz – You usually can’t go wrong with black on the red carpet and Penelope looks amazing in this dress! I love the halter style to the dress and how it shows off her back and shoulders. Just gorgeous!
