I happen to be a huge Sarah Polley fan (yes, I am occasionally approve of certain things) – but this whole getup is a little too prom night for my taste. Especially given that poor Sarah is sandwiched between two glamazons who are looking about as chic as can be.

You can’t compete with that in a plain ol’ long red dress and silver wedge heels. No matter how hard you try, Sarah, it’s just not going to end well.

The good news is that you are still cute as a button. But let’s get back to the days where you wore funky outfits and were all indie awesome, okay?

Considering how severe her red dress is, I’m even less impressed by the messy hair – so unlike Ashley to look so awkward and inept when it comes to putting an outfit together.Were she wearing something a little bit more youthful and playful, the hair might work. But with this…it just plays once again to the ‘dress up’ vibe.

Are we sure this is the right twin here? Mary-Kate is that actually you?

Not too much leg, not too much skin? Bridget is like a revived woman! Even her hair isn’t quite as blonde as it was on the show. Well, maybe it is. But the extensions are at least not quite as unrealistic. And can I mention again how much I love this red dress?

The only thing I would change is to ask Bridget to watch the sun – you can already start to tell some damage is going to creep up on her…in time she’ll have to pay for all that obvious tanning…but at the moment, Bridget should be out enjoying the single life just like this.

Even if the actress or actor has only been away for wholesome reasons like “starting a family” and “relaxation”, it’s always such a treat to see stylists go to full tilt in order to polish that person up for a media tour. In this case, the always lovely Jennifer Garner is wearing a sweet red wrap dress and nude heels for ‘Good Morning America’ to promote her movie ‘Ghosts of Girlfriends Past’. The whole thing works perfectly and is a vibrant start to the day. Not trying too hard or too dressed up for daytime television, it just makes sense.

It’s all so overwhelming and foofy. Yes, that is a technical word – foofy I just can’t understand why any woman would want to actively promote the size of their behind in such a silly silhouette. Carla, honey – you can do better. You have aged yourself by about 10 years here and not won yourself any points in the ’style icon’ department.

It’s not completely clear to me why my fashion fears are centered so fully on shoulder pads, but the thought of women climbing the corporate ladder one shoulder pad and tapered pant leg at a time…terrifies me. And yet somehow the worst possible incarnation of shoulder pads made an appearance during the Dolce and Gabbana Fall 2009 Collection Fashion Show.

Legandary supermodels, Eva Herzigov, accompanied by a very dour looking Claudia Schiffer,  will now be the emcee’ing my high fashion nightmares.  A combination of 80s power suit, Mad Men and Minnie Mouse…I’m floored…and at the same time, simply bored with the whole thing.

Kelly Brooks looks amazing in this red dress as she leaves her home in London, England. I like everything and I mean everything about this outfit and this picture. It looks like it’s out of a movie scene!

The red dress has an interesting pattern on it and the neckline with the white lace is gorgeous. The knee length red jacket adds so much style to this dress. I would love to get my hands on that jacket!

She tops off the outfit with a black Birkin bag and camel colored, open-toed heels. Can you guess what designer her shoes are from?! I also like how she wore her hair curly, long and flowing. Like I said, it looks like it’s right out of a movie scene. Cute, cute, cute!

Kelly was recently booted off of “Britain’s Got Talent” after just one week on the show and from everything that is being said, it had nothing to do with her performance. Simon Cowell, the show’s creator, has apologized about dropping her from the show, but said there was just one judge too many for that kind of format.

Kelly Brook will be paid £33,000 for each of the six Britain’s Got Talent shows she did, despite being dropped as a judge.

Wow, dahlings. What a stunner, that Teri Hatcher, eh?

Check her out here, visiting the Late Show. I can’t get over how perfectly she has done this red dress. So many almost-there fashionistas severly underestimate the power of a nude peep-toe and this is one occasion where something like that is in perfect order. Teri certainly could have used the traditional red or black pumps, even a strappy silver sandal. But she chose nude instead and rocked the hell out of this entire ensemble.

Her hair is fantastic, her skin glowing. (Her ass is a little skinny, but what else is new in Hollywood?) The dress fits crazy-good and is the perfect length. I am dying here, she is so fab.

Take that, Eva!
