By now we are all mighty used to one Paris Hilton wearing off-the-wall, skimpy duds pretty much everywhere she goes. But she really outdid herself at the 2009 Grammy Awards with this frock. Looks like it’s from the P. Hil Boudoir/Clown School Collection. Seriously.

I don’t mind that the girl is shakin’ down some serious color. Sure, the colors are that of a circus costume, but still.

And I don’t even mind she’s rocking a major mini. She’s got the stems to do it.

However, the combo of the style of this thing mixed with the ick-inducing colors is just too much to handle. This is one of her worst get-ups, in my snarky opinion. But yanno what? Whatever. Without Paris making major fashion eff-ups like this, I’d be out of a job. So, press on, dear Paris. Press on and find the most ridiculous garb you can…for the sake of us all.

First off, allow me to give my super props to Coldplay on their multiple awards for the crazy-hot song Viva La Vida. Swear to Gawd, that is one of my favorite tunes evah and I’m totally stoked they got some fab recognition for it.

However…I must question the ridiculous fashion ensembles these crazy fools be wearing. Sure, I totally get that they’re quirky and what not, but honestly, I feel like I’m looking at an old photo of Menudo or something from back in the day. The bright colors are a bit wiggy even for those who tend to push the fashion envelope. They just look damn silly, if you ask me, and I’m thisclose to being embarrassed for them (except that I just don’t have the energy to be embarrassed for people who make crappy clothing choices. Seriously.)

So, yay on the awards, boo on the goofy getups. Coldplay, you’ve got a lot going fer ya. Now take some of that cash and hire thee a stylist! Puh-leeze!

“Slumdog Millionaire” star Freida Pinto has to be on top of the world right now. Her movie has earned so many awards and has been nominated for an Oscar. It’s like she came out of nowhere and I love it! She is a true beauty and every interview I have seen her in, she seems genuine and just enjoying her success as it comes.

At the 61st Annual DGA Awards, Freida looked absolutely gorgeous! She wore a metallic one-shouldered Zac Posen Spring 2009 mini dress. The former aspiring model also wore matching peep toe shoes.

I do love her dress, but I think more than anything I fell in love with her hair and makeup. I don’t know who did her hair and makeup, but wow, she just looks amazing and flawless.

Red carpet HIT! +4 under.

Amy Adams is a true beauty and she did not disappoint at the 61st annual DGA Awards last night (February 1).

She wore a sparkling Jasmine Di Milo Spring 2007 dress with silver sequins and nude underlying fabric. My favorite part about this dress is the low cut back. It gives the dress that “wow factor” as Amy walks away.

She completed the look with a pair of silver Christian Louboutin Fortuna slingbacks and some dangling earrings. Simple, yet chic.

Marisa Tomei attended the 61st annual DGA awards in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 1st. Have you seen Marissa in “The Wrestler” yet?

I immediately fell in love with her white strapless gown! The dress is from Dior and it shows off her amazing figure. She topped off the look with a bold statement necklace and matching bracelet.

The purple clutch seems a little out of place to me. I would have gone with a black one, but no one invited me to the awards!!

Here are my picks for the 2009 SAG Award HITS.

Penelope Cruz – You usually can’t go wrong with black on the red carpet and Penelope looks amazing in this dress! I love the halter style to the dress and how it shows off her back and shoulders. Just gorgeous!

Anne Hathaway – I like how Anne wore something that fits her body. It shows off her great figure and the bling on her waist and neckline just make her sparkle. (Her hair on the other hand is not looking too hot!)

Marcia Cross – Wow, I love the black and dark blue combination on this dress. It compliments Marcia’s red hair and pale skin. The bunching of the fabric at the bottom of the dress gives this dress something to talk about. I like how it is fitting at the top and still shows off her great curves. Anyone who has had twins and looks like THAT should show off their bod!

Kate Winslet – Kate Winslet shows off her curves in this blue number. She recently revealed that her exercise routine consists of 20 minutes of Pilates. She looks beautiful in this color and the style is very attractive. She’s just glowing!

Unfortunately, some of the colors may have been great, but the style of dress was not. Here are my picks for 2009 SAG Award flops.

Emily Blunt – There is just nothing flattering about this dress. I wouldn’t like to see this dress on anyone. I don’t think the color is good for her either.

America Ferrera – I am a big fan of this gal. I think she is simply fabulous in “Ugly Betty”, but this dress is simply un-fabulous. I can’t really say there is one thing that I like about this dress. I don’t like the color on her and that black sash draping across her chest just completely looks out of place!

Christina Appelgate – Hmmmm….where do I begin with this one. Hate the color, hate the style, hate that long necklace she is wearing. I think that about wraps it up.

Teri Hatcher – Teri, Teri, Teri…what have you worn my dear? This dress does nothing for Teri’s amazing figure. This girl has curves and she should be rockin’ them on that red carpet! This dress just swallows her up.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have had a busy week. They attended the Critics’ Choice Awards earlier this week and then last night (January 11), they attended the 66th Golden Globes. I liked both of their looks better at the Critics’ Choice Awards, but there was definitely nothing wrong with their wardrobe choices last night!

Angelina was nominated for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama (Changeling) and Brad was nominated for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button). Neither of them came away with an award.

For this awards show, Brad went with a more classic tuxedo look, with a pair of sunglasses. Angelina Jolie wore a similar colored dress as her Critics’ Choice Awards number. Instead of sporting a sleek pony tail, she wore her hair down and simple. They both look fabulous, especially standing together. What a couple these two are!

Husband and wife duo Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon attended the 66th Golden Globes together on Sunday, January 11th. Kyra looks stunning, while Kevin looks like he rolled out of bed or had too much to drink or something. What is wrong with him? I thought this picture was taken before the after parties, but one look at Kevin says he partied hard!

Enough about Mr. Bacon. Let’s chat Kyra’s dress shall we? I love the classic red dress for a red carpet event and this dress was absolutely beautiful!

The dress is strapless, but is staying put (unlike Nicole’s!). It hugs her body in all the right places and drapes down to the floor where you can see a little train. I like the bodice work and the thin belt. Fab-u-lous red carpet choice!

I wonder if celebrities ever have nightmares about walking the red carpet at some big event and they lose their top, or someone steps on their skirt and it falls down? Or how about their bra is sticking out and they are having to pull their dress up all night? That was Nicole’s nightmare becoming a reality!
