Eva Longoria Parker, Lunching with the Ladies

So here’s yet another picture of poor “fat” Eva Longoria (as if). However, the paps that took this pic said that as Eva exited her car, she told them to “make her look thin.” Awww.

Now, either the poor girl is starting to get a complex over these Lardo Bombardo accusations, or she really is trying to hide a little extra sumpin’-sumpin’ – a little padding from an impending bump, perhaps?

Now in the photo, I see no bump. All I see is a super cute, tiny girl who dressed up an otherwise plain black tube dress with the most kick-ass accessories. However, this is just the type of thing a newly preggers girly might where whilst her bump is still a-brewin’.

I’m just sayin’.

Ever wonder how your favorite stars get so darn slim after squeezing out their offspring? Of course you do!

According to US Weekly, here are a few tips celebs are using to whittle thine waists, some extreme, some common sense.

* Breastfeeding - Jessica Alba and others use this ultra-natural form of weight loss to both bond with their babies and slim down, since breastfeeding can burn an enormous 500 calories a day.

* Hold the oil, hold the butter – Jennifer Lopez looks even more fab than pre-baby, but it’s not without a little sacrifice. It’s said that she requests her meals prepared without oil or butter.

* Meal delivery - Everyone knows it’s rare for a new mother to have excess time to prepare healthful meals, so some celebs simply have them delivered. If a personal chef is not in your budget, check into a program like NutriFit or something similar for pre-sized meals that keep you in your target calorie zone effortlessly.

* Working the hell out - Bottom line, you have to move your body to burn excess calories. Work with a trainer, head to the gym solo, or use at-home DVDs, it doesn’t matter…just get those buns moving. Many celeb trainers have their own DVD systems available these days, so now’s the time to exercise that rarely-used Netflix subscription and give some a whirl.

Of course, rumors run rampant of the C-section/tummy tuck combos, belly bandages and other surgeries/contraptions, but conventional wisdom knows that the best way to drop pounds is to burn more calories than you take in – sensibly.

Recent singleton, Liv Tyler, must not quite be over the idea of a baby bump, since she’s chosen an ugly, shapeless dress which gives her that insti-bump look without all the hard work.

Seriously, I adore Liv, think she’s totally cool in her own funky way, but this dress does nothing for her shape or for the rumor mill. And let me once more take this opportunity to be the fashion devil who reminds you all that satin is sooooo not forgiving. Thought we’ve all learned that lesson by now. Guess not.

Brangelina at Cannes

So twinkies, eh? That’s the word, thanks to Jack Black’s big, fat mouth. Of course, we’ve all been speculating on Angelina Jolie’s baby bundle for months, and twins seemed to be the verdict. No we know for sure. I can sleep better now, thank gawd.

So while that’s lovely and what not, what’s really important here is Angie’s dress. Yanno, this is the second time I’ve fallen for her wearing this shade of green, and we all know that The Snarkstress falling for Angelina under any circumstances is a remarkably rare event. But here, there’s no denying this is a fab color for this chick.

And, ahem, one more lapse from my normal Angelina-bashing: I dig the fact that Ang is sticking to tent-like dresses instead of the skin-tight bump-baring frocks that a lot of Mamas-to-Be try to rock. While sporting a watermelon is scorching hot in H-wood right now, there is something to be said for keeping the miracle of baby-growing a humble affair. AJ seems to be doing this, and for that, I must give props.

Of course, she gets props for her arm candy as well, but that all goes without saying.

Anyhoo, don’t get used to this Angelina-loving, dahlings. It was just one of those things I’ll probably regret in the morning, yanno?

Sigh. Time for a drink. Happy Hour a little early, loves? See you there.

God bless Jessica Alba. I have not had one snarky thing to say about her pregnant ass yet. She’s consistently gorgeous, enveloping her pretty little bump in a very classy way, yet still managing to look oh-so-stylish and inspired.

This dress though, dahlings…this dress is my favorite one yet. With her coloring, Jess looks captivating in white, always. Add to that the gorgeous detail around the bust line, the fabulous earrings, and the subtle (or not-so-subtle) showing-off of The Girls, and this be One Hot Mama.

Makes me almost want to get preggers again, just so I could see if I can outdo her pre-momma sexay-ness. Bet I could. But then I’d have to quit drinking and you know me and my Mimosas. And Mojitos. And Cosmos. And Margaritas. And Lava Flows. And…

Uh, maybe I’d better just leave the bump-lovin’ to Jess, eh?

The lovely (and kick-ass) Jessica Alba shows us that being pregnant equates to being hot stuff. I adore how this Love dresses demurely – not shoving her bump down our throats, but rather teasing us with its total cuteness. She looks elegant and stylish, while also radiating “SexyHotMama”. Not an easy feat for someone in her third trimester, no?

P.S. The plumage accentuating her newly-outstanding accessory – The Girls – was a great touch, too.

For years I hated Nicole Kidman. She was married to my would-be husband, Tom Cruise, after all (oh c’mon, dahlings. You know you were all warm for his form back in the Top Gun/Cocktail days, too – don’t play coy with me!) But once Tom and Nic split, I started to like Nic a tad. Then a little more and a little more, until suddenly, I kind of dug her. I still do, I s’pose.

So it kind of pains me to scream this from the top of my snarky lungs, but I’ll do it anyway: What in the hell were you thinking when you slipped this on, bi-yatch? There.

Now, here we have a gorgeous lady, in the beginning stages of Baby Bump euphoria, and she dresses in something like this? I mean, come on! Where is the justice here? This weird-ass frock does nothing for her, and it totally takes away from her pregnancy “Awwwww!” factor.

Good Gawd, I pray this was just a minor slip-up. I pray that she goes back to wearing dresses that don’t resemble a throw-back to her Moulin Rouge days. Please, Nic, trash this thing and get it back to good, pronto!

Am I the only fab-chick spending a good portion of my day speculating on whether or not Fergie has fiance Josh Duhamel’s bun in her over or what? (For the record, I’d like to have Josh Duhamel’s buns in my death grip, but that’s another story…)

Check out Fergs here at last night’s Grammy Awards. Does she not look a bit bump-ish? Particularly in the photo with Chris Brown (who TF dressed him last night, anyhoo?) I suppose she could’ve gotten a little crazy on Nacho Night, but to me, this looks like a little round ball, not the tube of flab that comes with one too many blue corn chips and margaritas.

So…what do you think? Am I totally off base here, or is there some scoop to dig on? Weigh in, dahlings. I always love to hear your thoughts (sound or otherwise)…

There are some freaking awesome looking pregnant chicks in Hollywood these days, are there not? (WTF is in the cocktails over there, anyway? Sheesh.)

From Halle Berry’s gorgeous ripe, round bump to Jessica Alba’s nicely-dressed bump to Tori Spelling’s wait-I-just-saw-your-skinny-ass-on-a-Nutra-System-ad-today-and-you’re-actually-totally-preggers toned and taught bump. It’s a big bumpfest and as luck would have it, we’re all invited along for the ride.

I can tell you I’ll be crying in my Cosmo when all these sexy dahlings deliver though, yanno? I’ll miss seeing how they suit up their burgeoning bellies each day. Of course, by then there’ll be a whole ‘nother crop of bumps to behold, so I guess it’s all good.

Long live Hollywood Baby-Booms (and obsessive paparazzi).
