Victoria Beckham’s Optical Illusion

Stare at Victoria Beckham’s dress for 30 seconds, and tell me what you see!
First of all, if you stare at this dress any longer than 30 seconds you will either be hypnotized, or feel drunk when you actually are sober. I could see the idea she was going for with this dress, maybe. But as a start, they could tone down the shoulders? She is either a walking optical illusion of the new female role for Star trec. She just needs one of those visors. I will give her credit, it does give her nice shape but that’s it. If …read more
Paris Hilton Wears her Nightie to the Grammys

By now we are all mighty used to one Paris Hilton wearing off-the-wall, skimpy duds pretty much everywhere she goes. But she really outdid herself at the 2009 Grammy Awards with this frock. Looks like it’s from the P. Hil Boudoir/Clown School Collection. Seriously.
I don’t mind that the girl is shakin’ down some serious color. Sure, the colors are that of a circus costume, but still.
And I don’t even mind she’s rocking a major mini. She’s got the stems to do it.
However, the combo of the style of this thing mixed with the ick-inducing colors is just too …read more
Dollicia Bryan Doesn’t Leave Much for the Imagination

Dollicia Bryan showed up at the RedZone Entertainment and Radio Killa Records pre-Grammy celebration, giving everyone there an eye full. Holy cow! There is a difference between being sexy while you show off your girls and trampy.
Dollicia is a beautiful girl, but this dress does nothing for her. Button up your jacket please!!
Can you imagine trying to stand in front of her and have a conversation? LOL. It would have been a little distracting.
Where do you draw the line between showing off too much skin? Red Carpet FLOP!

Yesterday, February 3rd, was the Brazil premiere of Tom Cruise’s World War II movie “Valkyrieâ€. He and wife Katie Holmes and daughter Suri Cruise are in Rio de Janiero with him.
Katie attended the premiere alongside her husband and she seemed to steal the show! I absolutely love this vintage look on her. She wore a vintage Christian Lacroix dress and Rene Caovilla shoes. The dress is completely different than anything I have seen Katie wear before.
Her slicked back hair and bright red lips just make her pop on that red carpet!
What do you think of Katie Holmes’s red …read more

“Slumdog Millionaire†star Freida Pinto has to be on top of the world right now. Her movie has earned so many awards and has been nominated for an Oscar. It’s like she came out of nowhere and I love it! She is a true beauty and every interview I have seen her in, she seems genuine and just enjoying her success as it comes.
At the 61st Annual DGA Awards, Freida looked absolutely gorgeous! She wore a metallic one-shouldered Zac Posen Spring 2009 mini dress. The former aspiring model also wore matching peep toe shoes.
I do love her dress, but …read more
Amy Adams Goes Low Cut on the Red Carpet

Amy Adams is a true beauty and she did not disappoint at the 61st annual DGA Awards last night (February 1).
She wore a sparkling Jasmine Di Milo Spring 2007 dress with silver sequins and nude underlying fabric. My favorite part about this dress is the low cut back. It gives the dress that “wow factor†as Amy walks away.
She completed the look with a pair of silver Christian Louboutin Fortuna slingbacks and some dangling earrings. Simple, yet chic.
Red Carpet HIT!

Marisa Tomei attended the 61st annual DGA awards in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 1st. Have you seen Marissa in “The Wrestler†yet?
I immediately fell in love with her white strapless gown! The dress is from Dior and it shows off her amazing figure. She topped off the look with a bold statement necklace and matching bracelet.
The purple clutch seems a little out of place to me. I would have gone with a black one, but no one invited me to the awards!!
Red carpet HIT!

Dakota Fanning is all Grown-up and Gorgeous!

It’s so crazy to watch young stars grow-up before your very eyes. Take a look at Dakota Fanning! I still remember her as a little girl in movies like “I Am Sam†and “The Cat in the Hatâ€.
Dakota showed up at the Los Angeles “Push†premiere looking stunning! I thought her dress was just right for her age. It didn’t seem too grown-up for her, but was youthful and fun. Dakota is definitely mature beyond her age and I have seen her wear some things that my grandma probably has in her closet. It was good to see …read more

Along with the 2009 SAG Award Red Carpet FLOPS, there were some HITS too. Overall, I wasn’t impressed with the dresses that were showcased this year, but there were a few that stuck out to me.
Here are my picks for the 2009 SAG Award HITS.
Penelope Cruz – You usually can’t go wrong with black on the red carpet and Penelope looks amazing in this dress! I love the halter style to the dress and how it shows off her back and shoulders. Just gorgeous!

Last night, January 25th, at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, was the 2009 SAG Awards. One thing that I loved about the red carpet style last night was COLOR. There was so much color!
Unfortunately, some of the colors may have been great, but the style of dress was not. Here are my picks for 2009 SAG Award flops.
Emily Blunt – There is just nothing flattering about this dress. I wouldn’t like to see this dress on anyone. I don’t think the color is good for her either.
