The oh-so-awesome Julie, who was in charge here for a bit while I was off being fabulous somewhere else, did a bang up job, did she not? But alas, I simply could not resist the allure of coming back, so here I is. What a thrill.

Seriously, I am so excited to be here. There is so much horrible celeb fashion going on out there, I can hardly contain myself. I hope you are feeling chatty because I’d love to start some lively discussions on just what is being worn out there in H-wood.

Of course, there is also plenty of great fashion, and we’ll take a look at some of that as well.

In any case, just wanted to let you know who’s behind the snark once again. Thanks to Julie for all her hard work over the last few months. You can find her over at ModelStalker.com, doing her thang. I wanted to say Happy Holidays from Snarkstress! I was able to hang out with the big man himself, Santa Claus, the other day at a fashion show in a nightclub. He was one cool guy and quite fashionable. He even strutted his stuff on the catwalk. I was SO impressed!

FYI – There won’t be any more posts today or tomorrow because I am taking a little break. I hope you all have a fantastic time with your families. See you in a couple of days!

The first way to wear a corset is for fun! Yes, fun! You can wear a corset with a pair of jeans for a night of clubbing, out to dinner or a casual holiday party. Pair a gorgeous corset with jeans and some pumps, and you have one rockin’ outfit.

Here’s a picture of me in my Stretch Metallic Mesh and Lace Corset. I love this corset and it makes me feel unbelievable. Since it’s a little chilly where I live right now (-18 degrees!), I wore it with a jacket. Looking at the pictures now, I wish I would have worn a pair of black or darker jeans. My husband sure loved this outfit!

A corset is a great addition to your wardrobe and can really add something special to a pair of jeans. I plan on adding a few more colors to my wardrobe soon. Maybe Santa will bring me one (and some cleavage to go with it! hehehe).

I’ve never even thought about wearing a corset before because I thought that it was strictly for the bedroom or pole dancing. Yes, that was me stereotyping corset wearers. Bad mistake on my part, because thanks to the people at Shirley of Hollywood, I now know that corsets can be worn in so many different ways and that they make you feel unbelievably sexy, whether you wear it to the boardroom or bedroom.

So, now that I am educated on corsets and have one of my own (omg it’s SO sexy!), I am brave enough to wear it in the bedroom, to a holiday party, or for a fun night of dancing. Is it getting hot in here? Whew!

Shirley of Hollywood has sent me a couple of great set of tips on corsets. One of the tip sheets is how to wear a corset. Did you know there are 10 different ways you can wear one? Yes, 10!

I have a feeling that as we are going through this series, some of you corset virgins, lol, will just have to purchase one for yourself. And when you do, you better tell me because I want to know how awesome my Snarkstress readers are!

Stay tuned for way number one to wear a corset. This is going to be so much fun!

There is so much you can do fashion-wise when it comes to bundling up and staying warm in the winter. You do not have to look frumpy either! You can dress warmly and look absolutely dazzling by just adding a couple of great pieces to your winter wardrobe.

A great coat is a must for the winter. Check out Hilary Swank’s white coat above. Gorgeous! I have several coats that I wear with different outfits and I didn’t pay a fortune for them either. My most recent find was a Kenneth Cole feather/down coat that I purchased at Costco for $30. It is SO warm and it looks great with a pair of jeans. I also have a black leather coat that I can wear with just about anything.

I have several pairs of boots that keep my little toes warm and toasty. I have the great knee high leather pair of boots that I wear when I am feeling like a rock star. Take a look at Taylor Swift’s awesome black boots above. Then I have my casual boots in black, brown and beige that I wear the most. It snows where I live, so boots are a must! I can pair these boots with a pair of skinny jeans or boot cut and I am good to go!

Ah, one of the best sights of summer: Hot celebrity bods on the beach.

And while I prefer to spend my time scoping out bods of the male variety, there is no way I could pass up giving props to the fabulous Lisa Rinna. Girlfriend is 40+ and looking fly as can be. I sure hope that when my snarky bad self reaches that ripe old age, I can look even remotely as hot (pfffft! Who am I kidding? Of course I will!)

In any case, in celebration of the Beauty & Style Channel’s ‘Sights and Smells of Summer’ theme (more on that tomorrow), I give to you a standby summer sight: A chick in a bikini.

New Kids on the Block at Z100’s Zootopia

Happy Weekend, dahlings!

This lovely photo is just a reminder that time can be very friendly to many manfolk and that stylists really can be fashion heroes.

Check out my boyz – the return of New Kids on the Block has set my snarky heart aflame, for sure. This is a reunion I’ve been waiting for for, uh, the last fifteen years or so. And no, I’m not ashamed to admit it. So there.

What I wasn’t expecting was how fly these fellas still look – better than evah, I’d say. They’ve aged well, no? And they sounded good to, which is a damn good thing since my junior snarklet was almost late to preschool on Friday so Mama Snarkstress could watch ‘em on the Today Show. *innocent whistle*

Anyhoo, fab that they’re once again out and about in concert (here at the IZOD Center in New Jersey, collaborating with Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers at Z100’s Zootopia. This, btw, was last night which just happened to be sexy boyfriend Jordan’s 38th birthday).
