Did Rachel Zoe fire Taylor?

Just Friday we learned that Taylor of The Rachel Zoe Project was over and out as she tweeted about leaving Rachel Zoe and moving on to other projects. On the contrary, People.com is reporting that Taylor was fired on Friday morning, effective immediately.

At this point, it’s all speculation and I find it hard to believe that Rachel would give the heave-ho to someone as integral to her company as Taylor. Yes, everyone is replaceable, but it’s tough to find people with a good eye and fab work ethic. Taylor has both in spades. I can’t see Brad holding it together under extreme circumstances and there’s no longer anyone available to swoop in and clean up the mess every time something goes haywire in the studio and Rachel’s off grabbing coffee. One theory is that perhaps with Rodger at the helm, he simply wasn’t putting up with Taylor’s mood swings?
Regardless of what caused the departure (and I’m secretly hoping this is just staged drama for season 3), I think Taylor will be just fine with or without Camp Zoe.
Not positive for Taylor… Good riddance! I’ve never seen someone so spoiled, childish and as old as Taylor. There are folks in this country (in the fashion industry or not) who are starving (literally) for a job; especially one as cushy and rare as the one she has — had. Who gets to work for a celebrity stylist and complain every single second? Yeah the hours were long and many of the tasks creat stress but there is a thing called “good stress”. Hell, if she doesn’t want the job I’ll gladly relocate and take it! Not only would I do a phenomenal job but I’d get Rachel to actually eat some food.
