The girls are hard at work creating their collections for Bryant Park on season 6 of Project Runway. Former Project Runway designer Chris March gives his recap (and agrees this season has been a total snoozefest) for part 1 of the Project Runway season finale.

Althea and Irina are working on very, very similar collections, chock full of knits. Are they joking? Knits? I know it’s New York fashion week, but do we have to be THIS boring? Carol Hannah is the only one saving grace at this point, but I think it’s a total toss-up for who wins the big prize. When the America’s Next Top Model finale has more talent and suspense than Project Runway, you know we’re in some serious trouble. I thought the show would bother to throw a curve ball at the last challenge, but nope, it’s the typical you-have-to-create-a-new-look-in-five-seconds, as well as help from the last three designers to be booted from the show.
