Rachel Zoe chooses ruffles for holiday

I have to admit, I’m the first to reach for a timeless, little black dress when it comes to holiday parties. A black sheath is classic, especially when you amp it up with a statement necklace and bold shoes. It’s easy and always fits the bill. For today’s issue of The Zoe Report, Rachel Zoe suggests using ruffles to spice up our holiday party wardrobe. This is a great way to play with shapes, but stick to dark colors well within your comfort zone.

- Metallic Satin Shrug ( $24.80) – Throw this on over your favorite LBD to give it a fresh spin.
- Plus Size Tiered Dress ($24.80) – Every size can wear ruffles, as long as they aren’t adding bulk in the wrong areas. This dress has flat tiers, which adds texture without creating a heavy look.
