Sex & the City sequel goes ’80s

It looks like the Sex & the City sequel will take us back in time to a place where fashion was more absurd, more extreme and more in tune with excess. The ’80s was the last decade when folks were as nuts about celebrities and fashion as we are now, so it’s no wonder that the ladies of Sex & the City met in the great city of New York in that era.
Carrie’s in full-on ’80s garb, channeling Madonna, while Charlotte sticks with her preppy duds that were oh-so-coveted at the time. Miranda sports a bowl cut and Samantha…well, would we expect anything less of Samantha? Check out the girls on the set of the Sex & City sequel, which was filming in New York until yesterday. Reports are now saying that Sarah Jessica and enough Louis Vuitton luggage for a small army left NYC until December? Wonder where the film is headed next?
