Marissa Tomei looked radiant in her  Elie Saab mustard yellow dress. When I first saw a glimpse of her at the red carpet I sighed with relief. She was a disaster during the Golden Globes so I was really hoping she’d bounce back to her fabulous stylish self. And she did. The back detailing of this dress is divine. Welcome Back Marissa :) .

Penelope Cruz was elegant and stunning in her Azzedine Alaia black dress. She was one of the few who wore black and as usual, she looked gorgeous. That neckline is a new thing in fashion. Leave it to Penelope to bring it down at the red carpet. This girl can do no wrong in my book.

Emily Blunt shimmered in her Pamella Roland silver dress. The first words that came to mind when I saw her were, “well that’s different”. And it was different good. I really liked it.

Here’s the part 3 of our 2009 SAG Awards Red Carpet coverage. Part 2 is here and  Part 1 is right here

Marcia Cross did not disappoint with her Carolina Herrera indogo colored straples dress. Check out all the details on the hem. Glamourous!

Anne Hathaway told E! correspondent Guiliana Rancid how she loves her Azzaro white dress. As well she should because she looked stunning in it. The detailed neckline and waist are to-die-for. The silhoutee is just gorgeous on her. I also love her hair. It’s very simple with curls. It’s the kind of curls you get when you braid your hair at night and then you wake up in the morning to take the scrunchy out. That’s exactly how you could easily achieve that curly style :) .

Angelina Jolie is once again wearing a Max Azria creation. She wore the same designer from the Critics Choice Awards. This Max Azria blue dress with butterfly sleeves shows off her back. I’m really not impressed with it. I do like her hair style though. It’s an old-Hollywood glamour look. The style of the dress pretty much look like her dress from the Critics, and the recently concluded Golden Globes. When E!’s anchor Guiliana Rancid commented on how Angelina Jolie has been wearing a lot of Max Azria creations, Angelina said she’s looking for comfort these days. I can understand how she’ll feel comfortable with this dress. I do hope she’s going to come out with a different style come Oscar’s time though. I think that’s what Angelina is planning all along. She wants us all to be wowed at the last Award show which happens to be the Oscars on February. I hope so anyway.

Christina Applegate is stunning in this green Emanuel Ungaro flapper-style dress. She accessorized with a long necklace which really worked perfectly with how the dress is made.

Claire Danes is wearing a Nina Ricci red flutter sleeves dress. The hem of the dress is asymetrical and tiered. It’s a pretty dress but for some reason Claire Danes looks lost in it. She’s like the Cameron Diaz of the night, heh. :)

Angelina Jolie’s Atelier Versace Dress From 2009 Golden Globes For Less

(Image : Newscom)

Not everyone liked Angelina Jolie’s Atelier Versace dress from 2009 Golden Globe Awards. Albeit it was nothing special, I thought it was beautiful. Eva Longoria’s Reem Acra dress was still my favorite. Having said that, Angelina Jolie’s dress evoked old-Hollywood glamour for me. I’m looking forward to seeing what she’ll wear for next month’s Oscar’s.

Anyhooo, if you’re one of the few who also liked Angelina Jolie’s Atelier Versace dress but can’t afford it, here’s an Angelina Jolie’s Atelier Versace dress replica from edressme for $350.

I’m not that enthusiastic over this Angelina Jolie’s Atelier Versace dress replica. In my opinion, the original dress was one of a kind. The replica didn’t capture the same essence. I mean it’s ok, but I’m not like blown away by it. But don’t let me discourage you if you would like to have it :) .

Eva Mendes’ Dior Dress From 2009 Golden Globes For Less

(Image : SplashNewsOnline.com)

Eva Mendes’ Dior white strapless dress was also one of my favorites from the 2009 Golden Globe Awards. She carried that oversize bow on the side really well. This could’ve been a disaster but Eva made it work. Would you like to take a chance in pulling off a Eva Mendes’ Dior white strapless dress replica?

This Eva Mendes’ Dior white strapless dress replica from Faviana is $258 from Unique-Vintage.com. The side detailing doesn’t look as heavy as the Dior version but it looks pretty darn close. You’re going to look so glamourous in this on your wedding day, or a gala event. OR, a prom dress perhaps?

JLO’s Marchesa Gold Dress From 2009 Golden Globes For Less

(Image : Newscom)

Jennifer Lopez took the 2009 Golden Globe Award show literally with her Marchesa gold backless and plunging neckline dress. She was glowing from every angle for sure. She looked great but it wasn’t my favorite form the night’s fashion. Eva Longoria took that top spot :) . I’m trying to confirm how much JLO’s Marchesa dress is but I’m pretty sure not a lot of us can afford it. There’s a Jennifer Lopez Marchesa gold dress replica though :) .

jennifer-lopez-marchesa-2009-golden-globes-dress-for-less-1 jennifer-lopez-marchesa-2009-golden-globes-dress-for-less-2

(Image : edressme)

This Jennifer Lopez Marchesa gold dress replica is $238 from edressme. I appreciate the fact that Faviana went to a more neutral shiny color instead of gold like JLO’s dress. Not everyone can pull off a gold dress like JLO so this nude tone is much more of a fashion friendly option. What do you think?

Eva Longoria’s Reem Acra Dress From 2009 Golden Globes For Less

(Image : Newscom)

Eva Longoria’s Reem Acra red strapless (scallop edge) dress was one of my top pick from the 2009 Golden Globes. She looked GORGEOUS, it’s insane. In my book, Eva is perfection in this red gown. It’s about $10,000. No fret my darlings because you can get your own Eva Longoria Reem Acra dress replica for less.

This Eva Longoria Reem Acra dress replica is $320 from edressme. I love how the replica captured the scallop edge on the bust because that’s what I love most about the dress. It’s also long enough to look exactly like Eva’s dress. LOVE IT!

Kate Winslet’s YSL Strapless Dress From 2009 Golden Globes For Less

(Image : Newscom)

Kate Winslet wore a stunning black strapless column dress from Yves Saint Laurent. Not only was she a winner, 2 times that night, she was also a winner in the fashion department in my book. The YSL dress costs about $7600. You can get a Kate Winslet YSL dress replica for only $250.

This Kate Winslet YSL dress replica for only $250 is from edressme. I wish the dress is longer like the original but hey, they’re trying to save fabric and money, :) . How do you like the YSL replica?

2009 Golden Globe Red Carpet, part 3

This is part 3 of the 2009 Golden Globe Awards Red Carpet. Here are part 1 and 2. I’m happy to say that the celebrities went all out tonight.  With a few exceptions which I will get into later, I think almost everyone looked glamourous. And by the way, Lorraine Schwartz is the ubiquitous jewelry of the night.  The award season glamour has started my friends.

Salma Hayek, as always looked stunning in her cream Bottega Veneta dress. Salma knows how to dress her body, flawlessly.

Eva Mendes looked exceptionally beautiful in her Dior white gown. I love her Van Cleef & Arpels turquoise choker necklace too. Eva carried that white details on the side really well. Hollywood glam indeed.

Not everyone like this dusty blue Dior gown on Drew Barrymore but I do. I thought it actually fit her cute personality. Especially the huge hair. Did you notice the button details on the side of the dress? NICE!
