Gladiator Knee-High Boots, Yay Or Nay?

This is a part 2 of the gladiator knee-high sandals poll I did a few months ago. Back in summer actually. I didn’t understand how it was considered cute back then and I still don’t. Much to my chagrined, the gladiator boots trend went to the next level. Now we have knee-high gladiator boots, with heels no less, all over the place.
I could understand it if you’re Pink or Rihanna and you’re wearing it during a performance. I could see it on artists rocking out on stage. Or, if you’re a stripper, heh. However, I just can’t fathom regular people walking around in gladiator knee-high boots while it’s 20 freaking degrees outside. Even if it’s not for that matter. Please, tell me you’re not actually considering it. While boots are fashionable and chic, they’re actually comfortable during cold weather. They keep your legs and feet warm. C’mon now.
Looking at the gladiator boots on top, I can see myself throwing it out of the window after the 3rd buckle.

Yikes, those are scary! I agree you have to be Rihanna to pull that off, and even that is questionable.
I’m going to go against the grain and say I love those red ones, but I wouldn’t call them boots. LOL. And since it’s only a day away from Halloween I think they would be perfect for many costumes. Maybe there is a zipper up the back to make them easier to get on??

Yikes! lol I don’t see the appeal or the point of these at all. Why not just wear sandals or boots?! Don’t combine the two! oO
