Isla Fisher as Becky Bloomwood. Sophie Kinsella’s heroine in her Shopaholic series. Please tell me you’ve read the books. If you visit Style It Less or any other fashion, and shopping blogs quite often then it’s safe to say, you ARE a shopaholic 
. If you haven’t read the book I suggest you get to it before the movie is released. I am sooooooo looking forward to this movie. It’s in production right now. Isla is in New York filming the film as we speak. Here she is with daughter Olive taking a break in the streets of New York. I fell in love with Isla Fisher after I saw the Wedding Crashers. She is such a breath of fresh air so I’m confident that she’ll do great as Becky Bloomwood. Tentative movie release date is in October so you’ve got about 7 months to immerse yourself in getting to know her. Trust me though, once you start reading it, you won’t stop so I’m pretty sure it won’t take you 7 months to read it . Buy your copy of Confessions of A Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella at Barnes and Noble.

This does sound a fun movie and it is definitely going on my list of “have to see”. Can’t wait!
I never pictured Becks looking like this, but Isla Fisher is so gorgeous and captivating, I’ll happily try to change my mind’s eye when I see the flick.

I loved her white coat in the NY picture. Makes me want to have snow just so I could wear something similar..LOL.
I loved this series! I’m a bit sad they didn’t stay in England staying true to the first installment’s setting. It’s like Book 1 and 2 mixed.

I also looking forward to seeing this movie after reading entire versions of book. Very crazy for Rebecca’s character. I am confident Isla Fisher will do it very well. ^^

I do think shes a good actress and Im sure shes going to play to part well but Im a bit disappointed that they havent got someone truely English to play her, because Rebecca Bloomwood is from Surrey after all!
