Jennifer Garner and Donna Karan, 2 of my favorite and well-admired Women in the world are among the list of GLAMOUR magazine 2007 Women Of The Year. I couldn’t have asked for a better issue this month. As a matter of fact, it has been a while since the last time I picked up a copy of Glamour magazine. It seems like I keep reading the same articles over and over again. And the last issue(October??) I saw on the store shelves where the amazingly curvaceous beauty of America Ferrera looked like a photoshopped version of Mandy Moore in the cover really pissed me off. Seriously, my husband probably thought I was even crazier than I already am when we were in the store and I was like, “OMG, America Ferrera has been photoshopped“. To make it clear to America’s fans(present company included), I had that horrified gasp because I happen to think America Ferrera is beautiful just as she is. We need more young women like her. Unfortunately, some magazines have an “ideal” look in their minds that they feel the need to photoshop everyone. *sigh*
But this month is a completely different issue. As soon as I saw Jennifer Garner in the cover, I grabbed it right away. And what do you know, she’s wearing a gorgeous sequined gown in my favorite color Blue 
.
Dubbed as The Icon Next Door, Jennifer Garner was chosen not only for being such a down-to-earth kick-ass woman/actress/wife/Momma, she is doing a marvelous job in the Children’s Defense Fund organization. Unlike other famous people who just attaches their name and for photo-op, Jennifer Garner is in the knee-deep and very much vocal in helping with the CDF.
