Style It Less

Lauren Conrad Was Dropped By Kitson

Even though the initial sales of Lauren Conrad’s clothing line had potential, Kitson decided not to carry it anymore. Yup, Kitson dropped Lauren Conrad. Kitson’s owner also said that The Hills star couldn’t be bothered to make an appearance to promote her own lone. Lauren Conrad’s people claimed conflict on dates. Uh huh. I agree with making an appearance for promotion purposes but maybe one of the biggest reason the sale is “lackluster” coz the line sucks. Even though I like her blue “Christina” dress. Not to mention the prices on Lauren’s line are way too high. Personally, they look like OLD NAVY clothes except with $200 + price tags. Don’t get me wrong, I like Old Navy. I’m just saying.

Maybe drop the prices, find a retailer where regular folks like us could go to and then, SHOW UP at the store even for just a freaking wave. A simple gesture to show you actually care about the people who might be suckered into buying you shit, I mean fashion line. *clears throat*

Look at the bright side, Lauren Conrad could be reuniting with arch nemesis Heidi Montag at Anchor Blue. That is if the retail store is smart enough to put these two together. Talk about sales. *evil smile*

I agree with you. Her clothes that she wears is awesome and lots of people wanted her style. That’s why she got the position to begin with.

But, then all the stuff she came up with was boring stretchy cotton stuff that was not flattering…

  2. Pearl says:

I am torn between loving and hating the dress. It looks good on Lauren though. She’s got a great bod to carry the dress.

  3. Tania says:

I don’t like her outfit at all. If her line looked more like that, no surprise it was dropped.

  4. tanyetta says:

it looks good on her. i can’t afford it.

  5. DEBBIE REYNOLDS says:

if she wants our business, then she needs to be business like in her actions imho

  6. BKMabrey says:

    I like Lauren’s stuff better than Heidi’s.

  7. S says:

I don’t like her dress or her!

  8. Fay says:

Initially when I heard that she was going to have her own line.. I was all excited… Then, I saw it. It looked so cheap.

She must be kind of lazy, because it’s not like she doesn’t have good fashion sense.

  9. Fay says:

Yea. I don’t care for her dress either… weird stitching around the boobs.

But, usually, I love what she wears. I love what all the Hills girls wear, generally, what Miss World contestants wear when they’re not on stage, and Gossip girls clothes even though I don’t watch pageants, gossip girls, or the hills.

  10. Tanya says:

That dress is nice I don’t see what the issue is here. Maybe if it was less corset like with the detail on the chest it would be a bit better. She looks great regardless.

  11. Karin C says:

This is a no-vote for me.

  12. Tanya says:

tough crowd on here. It sucks she was Dropped by Kitson but then again her clothing line wasnt impressive enough!

  13. Fay says:

Her line did not look like that dress she has on. If it did, she would not have been dropped. The clothes she created were not one of a kind and were things that she would never wear herself.

  14. Tanya says:

Yah but I seen her talking about her clothing with such enthusiasm. You think someone like her with decent fashion sense would pick designs better than spandex super long ts and tanks lol. She sorta ruined a great money making scheme for herself. Who knows if someone will offer her such an opportunity again.

  15. Shilo Beedy says:

I know I would promote a clothing line if I had one. She should be more responsible if she expects people to sell and buy her clothes. She also needs to consider a better look for the clothes and maybe a cheaper price as well.

  16. Jenny says:

Making a lower cost clothing line would be the answer for Lauren.

  17. Jenny says:

Affordable clothing would be a hit with her line.

  18. BKMabrey says:

Lauren should have made the appearance at Kitsons.

  19. Fefe says:

Her stuff was just ok. The prices did not match her products at all.

  20. Dixie says:

So many celebs get their own line. Some of them really seem to want it to be smashing, like Kimora-even if you don’t like her, you have to admit, the girl works her tail off to promote baby phat.
Then you have the ones who simply think that if their name is on it, everyone will run out to buy it.

  21. Tiffany Hulbert says:

    That’s too bad……

  22. BKMabrey says:

she’s young- she can try again.
