My Shirt Dress W/ Wide Belt and Boots Look

A few months ago I found a wide velvet belt with gold studs trim and woven metal ring buckle for $3.99 at the PX. Coincidentally, a friend of mine bought the exact same thing. But she had a dilemma. She didn’t know what to wear it with. I told her not to worry coz I’d help her out. I suggested this ensemble:
Wear it with a shirt dress. I’ll show you how sometime
. It’s a good ensemble for Fall. Shirt dress with wide belt and knee-high boots. Trust Me
If you could please just ignore my stupid facial expressions..hehehe, you’ll see that I’m wearing a Brown velvet shirt dress, which by the way has been in my wardrobe way before I started having babies. That was like 10 years ago. To be able to wear it this time of my life is amazing, understandably . It’s one of the classic pieces in my closet. The wide velvet brown belt(3.99) around my waist, brown faux suede knee-high boots($29.99, PAYLESS), wood bangle($2.99), a single strand wood/beads long necklace($3.99, CATO) and a gold hoop earrings but you can’t really see it.
BTW, I had to take pictures inside coz it’s still actually 90 degrees outside, LOL, but I wanted to show a Fall outfit for my friend wearing “OUR” the belt. Also, there are cotton farmers around my house right now and I didn’t want them to think I’m crazy. “Oh look at that woman, taking picture of herself before she goes to “work” 
in the middle of the day”. Hahaha.

. I have bandy legs so I can’t wear mini skirts and mini dresses like this but this gave me an idea on how to wear my belts. 
Ditto. I don’t own a single miniskirt, but this is a great look for shirtdresses and regular dresses (but maybe not wrap)…

Can I just say I’m totally jealous that you have clothes that look that great from ten years ago and you still fit in them pos-baby? Your next entry should be about how to look that great afer ten years and babies!!!

Fabulously Broke, Oh no, not a wrap dress. YOu can still wear boots with it, a little tricky though, but no belt
