I haven’t been to OLD NAVY in a while. Online or In-store. Except for baby and kids clothes which I did for another fashion blog that’s coming soon
. Anyhooo, in-store, the last time was June actually, when I bought a pair of jeans. Don’t get me wrong, I love OLD NAVY. But most often that not, I get accosted with crappy clothes that they seem to purposely shoved down my throat everytime I visit. Today, I digress. I found this purple knit empire dress for only $13.99. Technically the color is called “Dionysus Wine” which is cool. It does look like a color of an nice tasting wine
. But I’m going to call it purple, alrighty? Anyhooo, I think the bold color is very well suited for Fall. The plunging v-neckline is such a contrast to the long-sleeves but matches perfectly. I also love the drawstring empire waist detail. I certainly wouldn’t mind wearing this with black stilettos like the woman in the picture but I think it’ll look good with a black pair of knee-high boots as well come Winter time. Please don’t wear it with UGGS. Hardy Har Har

Cute dress, perhaps not those who are blessed on top
I’ve shopped ON since college and have definitely noticed changes overall. Initially, most items were the standards with a bit of a twist at a lower price. Nowadays, it seems inventory is catered to the trend. The latest being baby doll and empire waist items. It all depends on your body type and the look you’re trying to achieve.
With that said, I love their knock-off version of M&C’s baby doll coat! Unless it’s custom, $30 is better than $300 for me.
They had the dress in other colors like black, brown, and navy blue. I bought it navy blue, and now I want a purple one too.
Waves, oooh, you have it navy blue?? I am mighty jealous. I love that color. Yes, get the purple one too. I’ll check the store sometime this weekend if they have it in my size. Wish Me Luck.
mare, a black cami to slightly cover the cleavage for top-lucky women would be good
$30 is definitely better than $300 is my book as well.
Looks really comfy. I’d go for this.
love the empire waistline
A belt would be nice to go with this too.
yeah it needs a belt
I like this one but I worry I’d look pregnant in it.
Needs some accessories.
Its pretty simple after further inspection
the neckline is nice however.
I like the tie around the waist
like the shoe
needs a long necklace
