Best Actress winner Marion Cotillard had guts in wearing this mermaid fish scales detailed dress by Jean Paul Gaultier. I really don’t think she’d care if I bash this dress since she took Oscar home. So I’ll just leave it at that

I -love- Jean Paul Gautlier.. So experimental. I’ve have to say that very few women could pull off this dress- She pulls it off. The hair matches perfectly.
Gautlier is such a terrific constructionist. What didn’t “read” on the TV was that each scale was embroidered with silver thread (and some reports added gold) so that when Cotillard breathed or moved, she shimmered and glowed.
