Plaid is really big this Fall. I don’t know how it happened but I see more and more people embracing the plaid trend this year. I only have 1 plaid dress but that was for the Summer. I almost bought a plaid shirtdress yesterday but I somehow managed to stop myself. Then I saw the plaid mary jane pumps from Charlotte Russe today and I’m tempted to get it. I added 3 more pairs of plaid pumps for all of us to select from. Maybe these plaid pumps could convince us that it’s ok to do the plaid this year. Minimally of course.

This Charlotte Russe Plaid Mary Jane Pumps would look nicely with a preppy ensemble. I wouldn’t wear a plaid skirt with this though. Instead, I’d wear black, then black tights. The plaid pumps will be the pop of color in the whole outfit. $24.99

I actually almost bought this Wild Diva Plaid Slingback this past Saturday. I really like the knotted vamp and cork heel but after having a mental inventory of my clothes I couldn’t think of anything that I could wear it with. But I might change my mind this week. This also comes in black, orange and teal colors. $14.99 at UrbanOG.

This Bamboo Official Plaid Pumps feature a dainty lace trim to make it even more feminine. You can pick from purple, black or red colors. $21.99

The red version of this Misbehave Naughty Plaid Pumps reminds me so much of Christmas decorations so I’m digging the black more. The black bow is a chic accent on the shoes. $20.99
If you don’t want to wear a plaid shirt or plaid dress, go for plaid pumps. The print and colors are nice accents for Fall fashion. And, the shoes actually look chic.
