SIL Beauty Finds : Gloves In A Bottle & Body Butter

I’m a moisturizer freak. I should wear a neon sign in my forehead that says, “MOISTURIZE MOISTURIZE“. Especially during this time of year. Even my children have started the habit. I particularly drive my son crazy coz I’m always reminding him to put some lotion on. I ask him every 5 minutes, “did you put lotion on?”. And when I’m changing my daughter, I’m always uttering that famous line from that Jodie Foster movie I shouldn’t associate these beauty finds with but I can’t help it..LOL. “You Put The Lotion On The Skin“. If you don’t know where that line came from then I suggest you broaden your horizons in life, hehe 
. Anyway, enough of my bantering. Here are STYLE IT LESS latest beauty finds.
It’s cold season again. And I’m talking temperature wise. That means dry feet on my part. I am lucky to have found GLOVES IN A BOTTLE. A heaven sent moisturizer in a blue bottle. My feet get really dry this time of the year. Only solution is to moisturize and moisturize often. Gloves In A Bottle is what I’ve been using. After shower I apply a little dab all over my feet and before going to bed. A little goes a long way, let me tell you. Besides shielding my my skin from dryness, it’s light scented which what I always go for when it comes to lotions. One of the major ingredients is Purified Water so you know instantly that it’s good 
. I left my husband alone with the rest of the Skin MD Lotion since I already have Gloves In A Bottle. I gave a friend of mine some samples and she’s happy to report that she likes them too. If I use the GIAB on my dry feet, I’ve been using Yes To Carrots Body Butter all over my body. Now this is rich and deliciously thick. I say delicious because the texture reminds me so much of my cream cheese cupcake frosting. Seriously, if my husband wasn’t in the room when I first opened it I might have tasted a dollop. LOL. YTC Body Butter revitalizes your dry skin especially during this cold season of the year. I apply some all over my body after shower in the day and more after a shower at night. The latter is more so because I try to exercise about an hour while watching TV at least 3 nights a week. I love the silkiness left on my body. I couldn’t help but keep rubbing my arms a few minutes after application coz it feels really soft. “Just Like Buttah” ala Barbara Streisand . Like any Yes To Carrots products that I’ve tried, this body butter is also lightly scented. It has such a subtle fragrance that you couldn’t help but sniff time and time again.

This product seems to be getting some good press and is worth checking out too - Skin MD Natural in the UK. It uses a new advanced scientific proprietary formulation which, apparently, has a moisturizing factor 6 times greater than glycerin, the standard humectant (water absorber) against which all others are measured. It is a shielding lotion which bonds to the skin to keep the irritants out, moisture in and protects the skin in a way a normal moisturizer can’t. Well worth a look.
“Gloves in a Bottle” sounds like it would be good for me. I wash my hands a lot at work and my hands are horribly dry and chapped.

lmao at you tempted at the body butter taste test. reminds me of my friend who ATE her chocolate flavored lip balm yeah I’m still perplexed by it but hey thats my girl lol. Nutty gal she is I still love her.
