SIL Shopping : Blue Florals For Spring 2008

Prints, particularly floral print is really going to be big this year. A trend in my opinion that never died in the first place. If it somehow disappeared, it was only for a second and it always comes back with a vengeance. I’m slowly trying to get ready for Spring and Summer, hence this Hot Tempered Floral Print Satin Top with solid blue satin pleated surplice neck and empire waist which ties in the back. It used to be $30 but was on sale for $9. AWESOME! Not only do I love the floral prints, I also love the deep color of blue which happens to be my favorite color. I love Hot Tempered too. I’m glad I could buy them at Goody’s, in sale prices no less.
This has got to be the tackiest shirt I have ever seen. Its worth much less than $9. That looks like a bargain. I thought the whole purpose of shopping for bargains is to look nice rather than trashy. Hmm. Maybe I didn’t get the trashy is ‘in’ memo.
Sarah, it’s not trashy, it’s a bold color that’s going to be big this year. It’s floral print. You don’t like it,. fine. Wear solid colors. Geez.
The issue isn’t the trend of the print or bold colors, Dexie. The floral you chose has got to be the most tasteless floral I have seen in a while. Its no wonder it was in the clearance bin!
Sarah, actually it was on a rack, not on a clearance bin, along with other nice floral tops. You don’t like it that’s fine. I’d rather have a “tacky” top that have a “tacky” mouth.

I like the satin detail around the waist n bust line really enhances the figure.
