Steve and Barry’s Brown Trouser For $5.49

This Vista brown flare trouser is my first pick when I entered the Steve and Barry’s store from our recently concluded Upstate New York road trip. I found it in the Clearance section and as soon as I saw my size, I grabbed it immediately. $5.49 for a trouser, Come On. Too bad they didn’t have it in black as well. There were pink ones but who wears pink trousers these days? Well no one under 50 anyway. This Steve and Barry’s pant is the main reason why I opted to buy a classic piece from Sarah Jessica Parker’s BITTEN line. I’m trying to build my trouser selection so even though I saw skirts and casual tops for like $3 each I decided to get this trouser instead. Yah know, there comes a time when you just have to let go of some sales to have “mature” pieces in your wardrobe

I should add that I was so relieved when I tried it on and it fit perfectly. To quote my hubby, “NIIIICCE” . After all the food I ate at my in-laws’s family reunion party, it felt so good knowing I’m still the same size as when I left for vacation… LOL.
