I love what America Ferrera is wearing. Black strapless dress with a full ruched skirt that goes below the knees. It’s not quite looking like prom dress that’s been so trendy this year during award shows.

I don’t know who the designer is. I can only guess it’s Monique Lhuillier. But don’t quote me on that. I’m just guessing coz America has always worn Lhullier from previous award shows.

OMG, I am going to be skewered and barbecued for calling America Ferrara’s Monique Lhuillier charcoal grey dress a Fashion Miss but here it goes. Look, I LOVE America and I adore Monique Lhuillier. Not only does she make beautiful and body flattering dresses. Not to mention she’s a Filipina like me. I love the one she made for Marcia Cross. But I don’t like this color on America. It’s dull. It’s elegant, YES. But not for a vibrant girl like America. I expected her to wow me again like her cobalt blue dress at the Emmy’s. To be honest, if you take the lace-jeweled shoulder off, this would look a little bit like her dress at the Emmy’s. Just a little bit. I understand that if you like a designer who knows how to make a flattering dress for your body, stick with it. I agree wholeheartedly. But I wish Lhuillier went for another color other than charcoal grey. This would look marvelous on Vanessa Williams or Glenn Close.

Again, I love America Ferrera. I guess I expected more vibrant colors from her, not a charcoal grey one. Especially from a vibrant and oh-so talented young woman like her.

I absolutely loved the colors from Emmy’s Red Carpet last night. There was red, blue, yellow, pink and purple. Besides the black and white of course. The colored gowns made me very happy

Ali Larter was just too perfect in this bandeau-top red satin dress. OMG, it’s sic. Total Perfection!

America Ferrera did a wonderful job with this cobalt blue curvaceous dress. When I saw her stepped out of her car/limo(?) and saw the color of her dress, I immediately said, “I want that dress” .

Julia Louis-Dreyfus has always been good at playing with colors. I definitely love this purple dress too. Oh, can you see the shoes? I think it’s admiral/cobalt blue. Talk about a fun and bold statement eh?

Whoa plunging neckline. Whoa backless. Felicity Huffman is always a hit in my book.

And of course, Kimora Lee Simmons does what she does best. And that’s to be the Diva of Fabuloucity. I just love love this color. Ahh, I want it..LOL.

And of course, the Supermodel herself. Heidi Klum did it right with this crimson gown with huge front-side slit. Hello Legs. This Hot Mama host of Project Runway looks marvelous!
