After sweating over it, I finally came to the realization that I couldn’t possibly have just 1 signature look since I do like wearing different styles and get into trends with my own twist. Well except for skinny jeans (someday), UGGS, or leggings. I like different looks such as : top & jeans, top & skirt, top & shorts, top & trousers, and lots & lots of dresses. Hence, I couldn’t pick just 1 signature look. These of course are paired with sexy pairs of shoes.

Then on the drive home from a wonderful time at a lake yesterday, I had an epiphany. I finally figured out what my signature look is. Click more if you really want to find out…

Notice the similarities from all the pictures? If you guessed that it has something to do with the hair, you’re getting closer. Look at the pictures again, notice how in every picture, my hair is always down? Hallelujah!!! And that my friends is my signature look. Bangs or not, in curls, long, or layers, Spring/Summer, Fall/Winter,  I always wear my hair down.

Looking at these pictures again makes me want to let the bangs grow and go back to the same-length long hairstyle. I still haven’t dyed my hair back in auburn which I have been meaning to do in a long time. I love my bangs but I miss my long hair (1st row pictures) a lot too.

I can breathe easily now though. I was afraid I don’t have a signature look at all…LOL. It turns out, it doesn’t necessarily have to be around clothing. My signature look is wearing my hair down all the time.

I was contemplating on getting my bangs last week remember? Well, I’ve gone ahead and got it back. My son was surprised when he saw me.

“Oh you got your bangs back, you look pretty with your bangs. How come you cut it off before? I couldn’t see your bangs. But now you have it back”.

I had to explain it to him that I didn’t “cut off” my bangs. It grew so I have been sweeping it off on the side. He said, “ooohh, I like your bangs better”

My husband said I look nice but then again that was after he’s had 2 beers..hehe. He defended himself by saying, “you know I mean it”. I believe him. The first time I decided to get my bangs which was like last January of last year he said it’s sexy and that I should’ve done it a long time ago .

Oh and if those 2 aren’t enough, I got hit on by an old lady at the grocery store..LOL. When she was approaching I initially thought she was going to say how cute my daughter is coz well, she gets that a lot. Imagine my surprise when said, “you have the most beautiful smile“. I looked at my daughter, then back at the old lady just to make sure she meant me, and she repeated it. “You really have the most beautiful smile“. Well thanks errrrr Grama?… Hehehehe.

*Oh some dude at Burger King smiled and kept on looking at me while he was leaving but we’re going to keep that a secret. Shhhhhhh

I want my bangs back. Just the bangs. I’m quite liking my medium-long layered hair which I intend to keep growing. But I miss my bangs . iVillage said bangs are great and staying this year so I guess it’s time to book an appointment with my stylist. I’m thinking of going back to auburn color also. Hmmm. What do you think?

Avoid these beauty trends….

Stick straight hair. Try some volume and waves. There goes my plans on going back to my long straight hair. I’ll maintain my layered-wavy hairstyle then

Breast Implants are sooooooooooooo done and over with. Hear that Pamela and Mariah?

Fake Tans. I think I just heard Paris Hilton whining. Poor girl. Her inheritance went to charity, now her fake tan will be a no-no in 2008 too. Oh what must she do now?

Yup, bangs are staying. Awesome, coz I happen to love mine .

Eye lash extensions are soooo in. Alrighty then. Why can’t I have my childrens’s long and full lashes? Life is so unfair sometimes.

Red lipsticks are in too. I’m not sure I can go too red. My complexion would not compliment it. I’ll stick to Revlon Toast of New York for when I feel like going “red”.

There you go. My advice it to start with a good hairstyle. Apparently, bangs is the IT hairystyle for 2008. Remember, there’s nothing worse than having a bad hair day .
