Cross Pendant Necklaces

I loved my long beaded cross pendant necklace but unfortunately it broke in half a couple of months ago. I’ve been meaning to buy a replacement but I haven’t had the chance to peruse the accessories sections of the stores I frequent. I figured I’d do some searching online just for fun.

Under $100 Look : Top, Skirt & Boots

Don’t discount your long-sleeves tops as just tops to keep you warm. You can make a chic look out of it. Dress it up with a skirt, accessorizing it with a belt in the waist and then pair it with knee-high boots. You can either wear it untucked like how I did with my JW purple sweater and skirt outfit OR tuck the sweater in. Either way, a belt would look so beautiful with it.

If you decide to go for the untucked route, pick a skinny belt instead. For tucked styling, a medium wide belt would look nicely around the skirt. I’m going for the tucked version .

Steve Madden’s Clutches, Under $50 Each

I’ve been dreaming about clutches. Really. I only have one right now. A red croc clutch. Honestly though, I don’t use it much often. It’s a good night out date bag. But with two kids, no babysitter on hand, those nights are far in between. I prefer my oversize bags these days. The new red Sasha tote, Calla Croc Satchel, and Marc Jacobs White Quildted Stam replica.

But, a girl can dream about clutches. Especially these Steve Madden clutches that are on sale for $49.99 each.

This under $100 Metallic Print Top & Jeans look is perfect for clubbing. Don’t you think? You can opt for a pair of skinny jeans but I prefer to wear either straight leg, flare or wide-leg jeans so I chose the straight leg. The fitting is as close to the skinny jeans .

Isn’t this butterfly pendant necklace beautiful? Well I think it is . I just love butterflies. So butterfly accessories are pretty much staple in my life. My husband actually just bought me a sterling silver butterfly necklace. I forgot to share that with you guys. Must remind myself to take picture sometime. The pendant in this necklace is 1.75” while the chain is 36″. $3.80 from Forever21.

I love this round cut-out pendant necklace. It reminds me of the one Miley Cyrus had and the less version I found. The hubs thought it’s nice when he saw it then said it looks like a huge Life Saver candy…LOL. It was actually the same thing that came to mind when I saw it at CATO, hehe.

Claire’s Assorted Bangles, $2.50 Each

So I finally bit the bullet and bought myself some assorted bangles from Claire’s. $2.50 each, so why not, right? I deliberated whether I should go for the prints versus the solid ones. The latter won. As much as I think the polka dot, leopard, zebra, and croc prints would be fun, I had to think of how to incorporate them with my ensembles. I don’t want my outfit to clash with accessories. Which is my main reason for picking the solid colors. I could play them up without looking at all like a fashion don’t. So I picked: white, black, blue and purple. The white bangle is the versatile color here because it could be worn by itself or with the other colors as pairs. Let me illustrate it for you…

See what I mean? I might go back for the prints sometime but for now I’ll play around with the solid colored ones. The black and white bangles combo would be perfect with my zebra peep-toe pumps.
