Bargain Look : Plaid Dress

I wish I was able to take a picture of me and my daughter together because she was also wearing her own smocked plaid dress. The Hubs took pictures of her outside while I got ready, then we left and when we got back home she took a nap. After I put all the groceries away that’s when I had time to take pictures of me in my dress. Ah, the life of a busy and stylish mom, huh?

Well, here’s my daughter in her own plaid dress which costs only $6 from Wal-Mart.

Just in case you’re wondering, her pink sandals is a Pediped ($39) and the pink clips were from Target.

Let’s just say there were a few people at the store who went crazy when they saw us together with our matching plaid dresses.

Isn’t it cute? This outfit is cool and refreshing. A perfect look to welcome the warm weather. Whenever it shows up anyway. I hope it does because not only do my shoes, tops, shorts, skirt, and dresses, need airing out, my legs which have been covered in tights (and jeans) to keep warm are itching to go bare and feel the fresh air. That does sound really good, doesn’t it?

This Knit Emroidered Neckline dress is another dress from Forever21 that I’d love to wear for Summer. It actually reminds me of one of the dresses from Lauren Conrad Collection. Except it’s more affordable. LC’s dresses are about $200-$300 a piece. You can easily find the affordable versions at Forever21, heh.

This Knit embroidered neckline halter dress is only $22.80 and you can pick from either yellow, red, green or the navy blue. I like the green and navy blue colors.

I’d wear this with either flip flops, wedges, or gladiator sandals. I wish Summer is here, how about you?

This AGB Double-Breasted Ponte coat is just my kind of coat. I love the blue color, but I’m mostly in love with how the front buttons hit below the bust are so close together. The 3/4 lantern sleeves didn’t escape my eyes either. I love cuts like this because it’s very flattering to my body frame.

Right now it’s on sale for $44.50 at Macy’s in sizes 4 to 16. If you prefer a black color, the store has that too. Personally, I prefer the blue . With it’s top of the high length you can cover up any kind of outfits with this AGB coat.

Are you a scarf fashionista? Meaning you like incorporating it with your Fall wardrobe? I like them and I wish I could be more tolerant with them. Some scarf are really pretty. But I’m easily suffocated so I don’t wear it that often. I’d love to though. Like this Fleur De Lis scarf. For $12, I can think of lovely outfits to pair it with. But dang if I’m not such a claustrophobic person. Well, enjoy it

To me this yellow floral spaghetti dress resembles a vase filled with spring flowers..LOL. I guess there’s nothing wrong with looking like a table centerpiece if it keeps you cool during the summer? Aww shucks, it’s still cute
