The question is not whether I (we) should get this Forever21 Beaded Halter dress. It’s “which color” should I (we) get . The quintessential summer dress color is white, but the orange, black, and cocoa are gorgeous too. Frolicking by the beach right about now wearing any of these halter dresses is very welcoming, isn’t it?

Pair this with either flats, flip flops, wedges, or espadrilles and Summer would look sunny and stylish. I’d personally pick the black, white and orange. Oh who am I kidding. I want them all. Each is $22.80 which isn’t a bad price at all but I don’t know how my husband would take it if I have 4 different colors of 1 style of beaded halter dress. I can see a lot of right brow lifting and eye rolling, heh.

This London Times Silk Tie Halter dress is pretty, no? You can either pick the crimson or black. Either color looks gorgeous if you ask me. The available sizes are 4, 6, 8 and 10. The halter ties in the back. Other beautiful details are the charmeuse contrast waist band, ruching at the bust, and the one I like the most, asymmetrical hem. It’s a very subtle asymmetrical design that’s not bordering the butterfly hem. I’ve seen dresses with the latter hem detailing and some of them are ugly. I like this hem style of this London Times halter dress better.

Wear it with a black pair of pumps or stilettos and you’re good to go. A black clutch perhaps for some arm candy. Each London Times Silk Tie Halter dress  is on sale for $38.70 at Macy’s. The regular price was $129. Great Deal!

Reese Witherspoon wore a chic black halter dress and what has turned out to be the quintessential Celebrity shoes, the Christian Louboutin platform peep-toe pumps at the 2009 People’s Choice Awards a few days ago. Her accessory only consisted of dangling earrings. Reese toned it down yet she still looked so beautiful. A proof that less is more.
