Morgan & Company Ruffled Tiered Dress

I wish the length is a little longer though. I’d look desperate with this dress on. I love the color, heart-shaped top, and the ruffled tiered skirt. If I was maybe 5 years younger then I’d be all over this dress. I’m not calling myself old but let’s face it, a woman in her 30’s would look ridiculous tying to pull this dress off. Unless of course I pretend I’m a celebrity for one day, heh.

So lucky for the young fashionistas because I’m leaving this Morgan & Company Ruffled Tiered Dress alone which happens to be on sale for $39.99. Besides, it’s only available in size 3/4 anyway.

I fell in love with this London Times Tiered Dress as soon as I saw it from Dillard’s.  See, tiered dresses are very flattering to my body. I don’t have a six pack abs. I’ve discovered through the years that tiered/ruffled styles help out in hiding my little bumps here and there. While some people could get lost with the trends in fashion, it’s important to learn what works with your body.

I’m not saying you should have the body like the girls from "The Hills" or "Gossip Girls" to wear fashionable , stylish, or trendy clothes. Not at all. What I’m trying to say is, find the right fit for you. The major fashion crime around is following the trends without thinking about how it would fit the body. Bondage dresses worked for me when I didn’t have children. 2 kids later, empire waist dresses or the tiered dress above are now the cuts of dresses I clamor for.

Ok, enough with my "preaching". I’m sure you already know all that stuff. Now back to the London Times Tiered Dress. It’s on sale for $48 in sizes 4 to 14. Yay!. Wear it with black heels or wedges once the weather warms up a bit. Like around spring or summer .

Do you like trench dresses as much as I do? If you do, then you’ll appreciate this Neiman Marcus Navy Blue Eyelet Trench Dress that’s on sale for $68. That’s way down compare to it’s original price of $198.

This would pair up nicely with a pair of black knee-high boots. Then a pair of heels to fit the Summer weather. The eyelet sure didn’t escape my eyes. I also love eyelet dresses. But mostly in whites. This navy blue eyelet plays with my favorite color of blue quite marvelously.

This Victoria’s Secret Squareneck Babydoll dress is currently on sale for $29. It comes in different colors but this ink blot blue is my favorite. If my vacation isn’t in 4 days, I’d so buy it. Lauren Conrad wore a beautiful one-shoulder blue dress from her own clothing line during the 2008 MTV Movie Awards. I didn’t include Lauren Conrad in my list of HOT celebs in mini and cocktail dress because I was hoping I’d dedicate a single post just for her and the dress. And of course I was bombarded with e-mails asking me where to get Lauren Conrad’s Blue Dress. Wheww. You ladies love to put me to work . I finally found where you could get the dress for yourself, *woot*. The dress is called “Christina“. Beautiful huh?

Halogen Print Dress With Contrast Trim($138). I love the colorblock trim in the straps, bust area and hem. A very nice floral print with solid color in order to not overwhelm the dress.
