For children, October means Halloween, for Women all over the world, it means Breast Cancer Awareness Month. While Style It Less continues to give you bargain finds, looks for less, Under $100 Looks, celeb looks for less, fashion tips and lots and lots of sales, look forward to fashion/beauty relating to Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

As we all know by now, anything pink with a pink ribbon you’d buy these days gives a percentage or all proceeds to the Susan G. Komen organization. So let’s do our part and shop for a good cause this month or any month for that matter.

Last Day To Show Me Your Pink Stuff

It’s the last day of our Show Me Your Pink Stuff contest. Only one has entered so far. There was one another entry from Sophie but she lives in the Philippines and well, I can’t afford overseas shipping so she’s not qualified . Kellie from PA submitted the most adorable and most beautiful MM pink pumpkin EVAH for her “Show Me Your Pink Stuff” contest. She and her 2nd grade son decorated a pumpkin for their annual decorating contest. OH MY GOSH! I think I’m going to make one for myself for Halloween. LOL. Like I’m seriously hyperventilating over here. Here, I’ll shut up to show you.

It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, therefore our first Style It Less contest will revolve around this theme. I’m calling it, SHOW ME YOUR PINK STUFF. I’m sure you’ve seen this coming after all the hints I’ve been intimating from the previous posts. Such as, Warriors In Pink, the L.E.I Tunic and Jeans ensemble, and the Incoco Dry Nail Applique video review. Before I delved onto the mechanics, let me Show You My Pink Stuff . Ti’s just fair, don’t you think?

My pink Yankee hat. Even though they’re out of the playoffs. DAMN YANKEES! Hehehe. the pink bracelet, the pink ribbon charm in my nomination bracelet and the pen that my husband gave me as one of my birthday gifts last year. I still have the box as you can see. I’m very sentimental like that.

2008 Planner, 100 Questions and Answer book about Breast Cancer, 2 ribbon pins and a pin.So how will the contest work?

All you have to do is take a picture of all your pink stuff, e-mail it to me @ dexie.wharton@b5media.com and your name will be entered in the draw. When I say pink stuff, I don’t mean just a pink shirt. Make sure it actually fits the Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Warriors In Pink For Breast Cancer Awareness Month

For the 2nd year in a row, my favorite Idol is collaborating with Ford Vehicles/ in spearheading the Warriors In Pink campaign for Breast Awareness Month this October. A lot of fashion goodies and gears are up for grabs where 100% of the net proceeds go to the Susan G. Komen for The Cure.
