Yes, you can add Jordin Sparks, American Idol champion, on the list of celebrities who have created a fashion line. Jordan Sparks collection, aptly called “SPARKS” launched on November 19th consisting of 12 dresses just in time for Holiday shopping.

I must admit, I like the Jordin Sparks dresses. I would happily buy the purple one-shoulder bubble dress (2nd picture above) and the strapless satin bow-side dress (2nd picture below). Prices range from $30 to $60 in sizes XS to XL. The 12 dresses are just a starting point. The “Sparks” collection will expand to casual wear and accessories in the future.

So, what do you think of Jordin Sparks collection so far? Would you buy any of it? I can honestly say that I’d wear a Jordin Sparks designed dress before I’d put on any of Ashlee Simpson’s punk tees  .

According to NY Mag’s The Cut After it’s 1 year contract, Anchor Blue says sayonara to Heidi Montag’s “Heidiwood” fashion line. I just heard Lauren Conrad giggling in the background…LOL . Just in case you missed it, LC’s clothing line was just recently dropped by Kitson.

Damn, just when I thought I’d try the whory clothes that Heidiwood offers, Anchor Blue drops it. Oh well, Sorry Heidi.                      NOT!

When I occasionally rave about Lauren Conrad’s outfit, like her gingham top and skinny jeans, or the white sundress, Christina Blue dress, and even her black tiered dress, you know I’m really in a good mood and genuinely like what she has pulled out of her closet. Usually, I think she’s boring as hell. Her personality is so bland. You can see it from her “staring contest” moments on The Hills. When she’s interviewed on TV, or the contractual appearances to any MTV events. This plain and boring quality reflects her Lauren Conrad Collection. The clothing line that Kitson dropped for lackluster sales but is now being moved to Bloomingdale’s (I’m assuming). Now if only she could actually describe what her collection is in more than 20 words. In her defense though, what other fashion terms can you use to describe her boring clothes that are prized way too freaking high?

You and I can probably go to a fabric store or Wal-Mart, and buy a sewing machine while were at it and come up with something more fabulous and affordable than what Lauren Conrad is offering for $250 a piece. We might throw a couple of prints in there too. What do you say? I don’t sew, but I’m very confident I can create a better dress than what I’m staring (above) at right now.

Even though the initial sales of Lauren Conrad’s clothing line had potential, Kitson decided not to carry it anymore. Yup, Kitson dropped Lauren Conrad. Kitson’s owner also said that The Hills star couldn’t be bothered to make an appearance to promote her own lone. Lauren Conrad’s people claimed conflict on dates. Uh huh. I agree with making an appearance for promotion purposes but maybe one of the biggest reason the sale is “lackluster” coz the line sucks. Even though I like her blue “Christina” dress. Not to mention the prices on Lauren’s line are way too high. Personally, they look like OLD NAVY clothes except with $200 + price tags. Don’t get me wrong, I like Old Navy. I’m just saying.

Maybe drop the prices, find a retailer where regular folks like us could go to and then, SHOW UP at the store even for just a freaking wave. A simple gesture to show you actually care about the people who might be suckered into buying you shit, I mean fashion line. *clears throat*

Look at the bright side, Lauren Conrad could be reuniting with arch nemesis Heidi Montag at Anchor Blue. That is if the retail store is smart enough to put these two together. Talk about sales. *evil smile*

Now I don’t feel so bad anymore when I *ahem* critiqued  Perez Hilton’s clothing line. I thought I was being mean which is really an understatement compare to what Perez Hilton does on a daily basis, heh. Here’s my quote exactly :

WTF kind of plaid pants are those? Neon colored pants? C’mon now. No self respecting women would wear hot pink or hot blue pants. Unless they’re like 100 and retiring in Florida. No offense Grandmas. Give it up Perez. You’re not that cool. The only reason some celebrities are kissing your ass these days is because they don’t want to end up in you blog.

Heidiwood is Heidi Montag’s  answer to Lauren Conrad’s uber-expensive boring clothing line. Heidi wants to reach to people who wants to look good but don’t want to spend too much money. Heidi wants us to dress like a bunch of ho’s and sluts. Pretty much.

I actually like Heidi Montag. But I’ll be damned if I have to starve myself to fit in one of her clothes just to look like a skank. Sorry Heidi but if my friends and I want to look stylish in less, we’ll stick with Style It Less. I heard that the chic behind that fabulous bargain fashion blog could find ANYTHING in bargains and sales and you don’t have to worry about looking like a 2 cents whore. .
