The lovely TULLE pleated skirt that Katie Holmes was wearing used to be $73 but is now on sale for $29.90. AWESOME deal for a nice Fall skirt to wear out and about like Katie has done while spending time with her family.

Katie wore the marigold and dolphin color combo with I think is a navy button shirt, brown cardigan, and black flats. I like the casual combination. I would also wear knee-high boots with this skirt. I love skirts and boots combo myself. I don’t know if I would also wear a cap like Katie did but she sure looked cute in hers .

Kate Winslet, Best Actress Winner once again wowed me with her Yves Saint Laurent gun metal gray one-shoulder dress with a black lace overlay. Kate can’t do no wrong in my book. She knows how to dress her amazing curvaceous body. What a great way for her to end this round of award season. She won lots of them AND looked stunning accepting them, respectively.

Penelope Cruz, Best Supporting Actress winner wore a Pierre Balmain vintage strapless with a brocade-ish embroidery and ruched skirt dress. The always so stylish actress said the dress is actually 60 yrs old. She saw it from a store like 8 years ago and promised herself to buy it. She went back to the store a few months (or weeks) ago and the dress was still there so she bought it to wear to the Oscar’s. I think that is truly remarkable and definitely worth it.

Anne Hathaway, Evan Rachel Wood, Marissa Tomei, Heidi Klum, Jennifer Aniston, Amy Adams, Meryl Streep, Natalie Portman, and Marion Cotillard after the fold..

Anne Hathaway looked amazing in her Armani Prive strapless encrusted dress. Anne has grown to be such a glamourous actress, huh? The dress has fish scales like detailing that shined at the red carpet. She did a fun duet performance with Hugh Jackman at the opening to showcase her singing prowess. Who knew Anne Hathaway could sing?

Evan Rachel Wood looked flawless in her strapless pleated dress. The pale color of her dress matched her porcelain complexion.

Marissa Tomei is one of my favorites tonight with her Versace pleated dress. The one-shoulder top with all the intricate pleated detailing all the way to the elongated train is out of this world. Marissa brought glamour with her and I am so happy.

Marion Cotillard, last year’s Best Actress winner is also wearing a Dior Haute Couture liek Sarah Jessica Parker. Marion’s dress almost looked like SJP’s actually. Except it’s in black color. Marion’s dress is also strapless, with a beaded detailing, belted waist and chiffon skirt. Marion still looked great. I like this better than her last year’s scaly mermaid dress .

Heidi Klum painted the red carpet in a Roland Mouret red origami-paper mache style dress. It’s so different from everyone else which is why I give her props for wearing it. Here bold jewels were to-die-for.

Jennifer Aniston usually dons black dresses during red carpet events but this time she wore a Valentino cream beaded strapless dress. I love the dress but I didn’t like her hair. Was that a braided headband?

Amy Adams looked subdued in her Carolina Herrera red strapless dress. I wasn’t impressed by it. But I was blown away with her Fred Leighton necklace. WOWZA!

Natalie Portman looked put together in a Rodarte pink strapless chiffon dress. It’s nothing extraordinary but she looked pretty .

Meryl Streep looked regal in her Alberta Ferreti dress. The 15 times Oscar nominee joked on the red carpet that she was happy the dress fit. I thought she looked gorgeous.

Angelina Jolie wore an Elie Saab black strapless dress. I was really hoping that Angelina would wow me thins time around but she didn’t. No offense to Elie Saab but this was just boring. Sure it’s an elegant dress but c’mon, Angelina Jolie hasn’t made a good impression at the red carpet this award season. I was expecting to be blown away by her but I feel otherwise. Having said that, I do like her emerald green jewels. But that’s about it.

Freida Pinto wears my favorite color of blue with this John Galliano one-shoulder-sleeved dress. The beaded detail is gorgeous.

Jessica Beil, Alicia Keys and Melissa George after the fold…

Jessica Beil looks beautiful with her hair and makeup. The Prada cream strapless with blousy-bow is really not my thing. I felt like the dress threw up and that huge bow detail is what came out of it.

Melissa George is a beautiful lady but her strapless fitted white dress did her injustice. It pains me to say this because I like her but she looks like a wedding cake topper.

Alicia Keys in a Armani Prive lilac strapless with side-slit dress. She looks stunning. I love the hair and dress but the makeup is a little too much.

Miley Cyrus looks MARVELOUS. I love her Zuhair Murhad silver with black trims petal-tiered belted ballgown. The wide belt gave it a youthful touch. The dress is very Cinderella-esque era 2009. I think of all the red carpet look that Miley has sported, this is by far her best and my favorite. She looks like a glamourous princess tonight.

Vanessa Hudgens is wearing a Marchesa black strapless mermaid dress. She shared that the dress was originally short but was redone into a long mermaid dress especially for her to wear at the Oscar’s. The dress has a gathered featherings on the top with a few white flowers around it. Vanessa looks beautiful.

Beyonce, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Tajari P. Henson after the fold..

Beyonce as usual is representing her own bizarre style in this House of Dereon Couture black strapless with embroidered gold leaf dress. I’m really not a big fan of this dress but then again I can count in my fingers the times I actually like anything that Beyonce wears at the red carpet. The gown she wore at the Inaugural Neighborhood Ball was probably the only dress I’ve liked from Beyonce. Oh well.

Sarah Jessica Princess is stunning in this Dior Haute Couture ‘barely mint’ belted strapless gown. I love the beaded details on the top.

Taraji P. Henson looks divine in this Roberto Cavalli cream strapless tiered mermaid dress. She accessorized with a bold choker necklace.

Marissa Tomei looked radiant in her  Elie Saab mustard yellow dress. When I first saw a glimpse of her at the red carpet I sighed with relief. She was a disaster during the Golden Globes so I was really hoping she’d bounce back to her fabulous stylish self. And she did. The back detailing of this dress is divine. Welcome Back Marissa .

Emily Blunt shimmered in her Pamella Roland silver dress. The first words that came to mind when I saw her were, “well that’s different”. And it was different good. I really liked it.

Kate Winslet looked AMAZNG in her Narciso  Rodriguez blue mermaid dress. As soon as I saw the deep color and how it hugged her in all the right places I was in awe. This shade of blue is one of the reasons why blue is my favorite color. Kate Winslet is just absolutely gorgeous in this dress. Her curves are SMOKING HOT!

Eva Longoria-Parker is once again in her element with her Jenny Packham peach colored dress. Check out the jeweled neckline.

Frieda Pinto from Slumdog Millionaire (They won Best Picture) looked beautiful in her Marchesa halter dress. The halter actually extends in the back as long tail. A very playful color and dress for this young actress.

Laura Dern is only one of the few celebs who wore black tonight. Good thing she looked great in her Burberry dress or she would’ve been lost from the colors of the night which were Blue, then white and a few reds.

Holly Hunter was beautiful in her Reem Acra pink strapless dress. The dress actually had tonal embroidery with sparkles on them. I think she looked wonderful.

Anne Hathaway told E! correspondent Guiliana Rancid how she loves her Azzaro white dress. As well she should because she looked stunning in it. The detailed neckline and waist are to-die-for. The silhoutee is just gorgeous on her. I also love her hair. It’s very simple with curls. It’s the kind of curls you get when you braid your hair at night and then you wake up in the morning to take the scrunchy out. That’s exactly how you could easily achieve that curly style .

Angelina Jolie is once again wearing a Max Azria creation. She wore the same designer from the Critics Choice Awards. This Max Azria blue dress with butterfly sleeves shows off her back. I’m really not impressed with it. I do like her hair style though. It’s an old-Hollywood glamour look. The style of the dress pretty much look like her dress from the Critics, and the recently concluded Golden Globes. When E!’s anchor Guiliana Rancid commented on how Angelina Jolie has been wearing a lot of Max Azria creations, Angelina said she’s looking for comfort these days. I can understand how she’ll feel comfortable with this dress. I do hope she’s going to come out with a different style come Oscar’s time though. I think that’s what Angelina is planning all along. She wants us all to be wowed at the last Award show which happens to be the Oscars on February. I hope so anyway.

Christina Applegate is stunning in this green Emanuel Ungaro flapper-style dress. She accessorized with a long necklace which really worked perfectly with how the dress is made.

Claire Danes is wearing a Nina Ricci red flutter sleeves dress. The hem of the dress is asymetrical and tiered. It’s a pretty dress but for some reason Claire Danes looks lost in it. She’s like the Cameron Diaz of the night, heh.

Evan Rachel Wood is another beauty in her Monique Lhuillier blue one-shoulder dress. The colors complented her porcelain skin perfectly. I love her Sergio Rosssi purple gladiator heels and purple clutch too. Evan Rachel Wood did wonderful in combining blue with purple. Just perfect.

Teri Hatcher is one of my top 5 best dressed with her Monique Lhuillier white one-shoulder belted taffeta dress. OMG, she looked AMAZING. I think she went all out tonight. Seriously, I’m spechless with this dress.

Kyra Sedgwick is one of my favorites in her Vintage Chanel black and white strapless dress. She looked FABULOUS. It’s kind of simple yet so glamourous at the same time.

Katrina Bowden from 30 Rock (they just won the ensemble award)opted for this refreshing blue ruched cocktail dress from Christian Siriano of Project Runway. It’s a really cute dress and it kinda works for her.

Jenna Fischer from The Office looks hot in her Pamella Rowland dress. I love how the front hem shows off a little bit legs then it cascades in the back as a long train. She finshed off her look with Neil Lane jewels.

America Ferrera is wearing a Vera Wang nude strapless dress with a tulle sash detailing. There is like a HUGE black tulle flower on the side. It’s really pretty. I don’t know if I like the nude color on America but the gown overall is gorgeous.

Lisa Edelstein from HOUSE is wearing this Reem Acra red grecian-inspired one-shoulder dress with Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Viola Davis from DOUBT looks gorgeous in his yellow asymmetrical one-shoulder dress. I’m researching the desginer so bare with me. She looks great, doesn’t she?

Taraji P. Henson pulled off a beautiful white Herve Leroux v-neck and backless dress. One of the ladies from E! asked her what she did to get ready for this stunning white dress. Taraji graciously said it’s from all the salad and something else that I can’t remember right now. I think she said “birds”.

Mindy Kaling from The Office is wearing blue BCBG dress with the huge detailing on the v-neck empire waist. I like the color but it’s an OK dress.
