I fell in love with this La Belle Retro Dress as soon as I saw it. I love the colorblock style and the colors used to feature the 3 panels. Since it’s only $15, I figured I’d create a look for less for all of us. A simple dress and heels outfit that could work for any occasion.

Retro Striped One-Shoulder Dress. A silky stripe jersey dress with a beautiful one-shoulder style on one side and a spaghetti strap on the other side. The waist is accented with a smocked and elasticized detailing to achieve a blouson effect which beautifully drapes the skirt. A gorgeous dress to wear with pumps or evening heels.

The colorblock trend has been one of my favorite trends since about 3 years ago. I haven’t really gotten over it. I might even consider it as one of the classics. I think once you found the color combination that you like, you would definitely consider that item as one of your favorite dresses in your closet as well. I fell in love with this London Times Squareneck Colorblock Floral Print dress that minute I saw it at Dillard’s. The colorblock combination of black and white has a chic quality with a playful touch thanks to the floral print on the bodice.
Isn’t it gorgeous? The black clover floral print is really pretty. Now if only it’s available in all sizes. Unfortunately, it’s not. Only size 10 and 12 are available at Dillard’s. The $48 sale price would have been the cherry on top. Oh well. If you wear those sizes then enjoy .

This Sangria Colorblock Halter Dress is quite pretty. And it’s on sale for under $50.
I love the light brown and dark brown combination of the flowing chiffon fabric. The halter ties in the back and there’s a bow accent on the front. The light and dark brown colors would complement a light complexion perfectly like that model in that picture.
The colorblock trend started at about early2008 and it’s still making waves in 2009. It has a chic factor that everyone should venture into if you haven’t already.

The overall total of this look is $71.19. You can wear black tights underneath if you want. I feel like showing off my legs at the moment . During Summer, a silver or black flats would go nicely with this colorblock dress too.

As soon as I saw this MICHAEL Michael Kors colorblock dress I was struck with it’s boldness. The red panels on the neck with it’s split frame neckline, long sleeves and hem catches your attention right away. I love the silhouette of the body. It’s not too fitted hence it’s very flattering. If you are a size 4 or 12, I hope you get this Steve Madden Silk Tri-Color Halter Dress. The colorblock of white, black and berry complimented each other in a not so tacky way. It’s tricky to pull off a tri-color dress. But this is gorgeous. I wish they had it in my size. Bummer. It used to be $178, but is now on sale for $32.04. Not fair for us not wearing sizes 4 or 12, I know. But hey, we’ll be happy for the ones who wears the sizes.

Oh sure this Jessica Howard Colorblock dress could be a prom dress. Are you kidding me, it could be any occasion dress. If you’re looking for something unique and affordable, this is one of them.
