I am very happy with my pairs of boots (black, brown) which I wear alternately during the Fall & Winter seasons depending on what color of clothes I’m wearing. I am very satisfied with their basic canvas styles but I’m enamored with the detailed boots that are out these days. I’m not talking about buckles here. Cute little details like ruffles or floral appliqués or attachments that make the boots fun and unique. Here are few pairs of detailed boots so you’ll know what I’m talking about.

Check out the side-ruffling on this pair of Wild Diva Mid-Calf Boots. Isn’t that cute? This pair is $24.99 and it also comes in black.

Not only does this Wild Rose Studded Boots have the studded large flower detail on the side, it also has side-pleating to make it even more gorgeous. This $34.99 platform boots is also available in brown.

Gorgeous no? I wouldn’t mind having these two pairs in my closet but I can only admire from afar. I’ve got enough shoes for now. Maybe you could buy one of the pairs though .

Look For Less : Floral Blouse & Trouser

Here is a chic look for less involving a pretty floral chiffon blouse and black trouser. This ensemble could be worn as work wear or a night out in town with a date or friends. Or you could go to work in it, then have a drink afterwards with co-workers/friends to release all that weekday stress. All I know it that I’d love to own each of the pieces in this box.

5 Forever21 Sexy Fall 2009 Boots

I am very impressed with the selection of Fall Boots from Forever21. Not only are they trendy, the boots are chic as well. I can imagine all of us rocking these Fall Boots this year.

Saudette Ankle Boots

This pair is called Saudette Ankle Boot ($27.80). “Saudette” comes from faux-suede cloth fabric. The platform, round-toe front and are what makes it sexy and chic. The zipper on the back is another sexy detail added for flair. It also comes in black color but I’m quite loving the Teal.

Saudette Ankle Boots 2

This is another Saudette Ankle Boots ($32.80), except the zipper is on the side, the platform is wrapped inside, and the heels are slightly chunkier compare to the first one. I love the royal blue color though. What do you think?

Abbey Bootie

If you are not at all comfortable with the height of the previous 2 boots, you might like Abbey Bootie ($26.80) instead. This faux-leather bootie has slouch styling and not-so tall tapered heels. Just slip it on with skinny jeans or a dress for a night out or casual days. This also comes in black color.

Kenzie Perforated Boots

If you are in the mood for an edgy-rocker-chic look, then you’ll like this Kenzie Perforated Peep-Toe Boots ($29.80). I would wear this perforated boots with the look for less outfit I created last month. Sans the lacey tights of course.

Under $30 Mossimo Fall Booties

If you don’t feel like wearing knee-high boots, opt for booties or ankle boots. It’s edgy yet chic with jeans or dresses. With the gladiator trend nowadays, the booties look have been influenced by it too. If you noticed, there are gladiator pumps that are labeled booties in some stores. There’s a distinction between the 2 kinds of course but in some booties, they coulld also be gladiator heels. We’ll focus on booties today. Here are a couple of ankle boots from good ‘ol Target.

This is a pair of Mossimo Kayleen peep-toe booties. It features faux suede upper and thermoplastic rubber outsoles. The height is 3.25″ heels. You can sure wear this as is or with black tights underneath a dress. $29.99. This also comes in purple by the way.

This pair is called “Valma” pumps, also from Mossimo brand. It has faux leather upper and thermoplastic rubber outsoles. This pair of booties is 3.5″ tall featuring a slash upper front design. “Valma” could pass as one of those fashion runway shoes coz it’s got a little bit of edge and it doesn’t look like any regular booties. A little high-end look with a very affordable price of $29.99.

PAYLESS Fall 2009 Boots

I was about to give up on Payless last week because I haven’t seen any Fall shoes that I really like. I mean they ahve a couple of pair I would consider but nothing to really “boot” about. That feeling changed today after seeing a few of their new Fall boots added to the collection. These few pairs are not bad at all.

Sasha Ruffle Bootie for $34.99. This architectural bootie with textile suede upper is chic and sophisticated with an avantgarde vibe into it. This ruffle bootie also comes in black color but I think the purple is prettier.

A pair of Knee-high American Eagle Paisley boots for a biker chic style. It has a distresses faux leather texture with stacked heels and zipper on the sides. $44.99.

I don’t think I would be wearing red boots anytime soon but I like this alice + olivia Sunset Slouch Boot. The cuffed shaft is adorable. The red color and faux suede texture give it the bohemian vibe. $49.99.

Speaking of boots for shoe shopping, how about some knee-high ones? Have you found yourself a pair yet? If not, check out this Glaze by Adi Women’s Lace-up High-heel Boots that on sale for under $30.

Shoe Shopping : Qupid Black Bootie

Along with the Anne Michelle Red Gladiator Pumps, I also bought a pair of Qupid Black Bootie. It’s my first pair of ankle boots. Finally, I have one.

I bought this Qupid Black Bootie from UrbanOG for $26.99. It’s pointed-toe but not as pointed as regular pumps. The bootie has a faux suede like texture and slight slouch look on the front. The lace-up tie is in the back which gives you an option to lace all the way or just the first 2 holes. The latter way gives it that wing-fold over look. The back lace up tie is my favorite detail. It gives it that sexy and trendy feel. There is a plaid lining as well.

I’ll be wearing this as is with fall dresses and skirts or with black tights underneath the dress. It makes me want to buy another in either grey or tan brown but I think I’ll just stick to this 1 pair for this year. I have enough boots to last me this Fall season. Knee-highs, and now a bootie!

Bargain Shopping : Wild Diva Black Boots

In my quest to find a new pair of black knee-high boots, I stumbled upon this pair of Wild Diva with metal grommet studs on the side boots ($15) from Cutesy Girl. This was after 2 days of frustration from not having luck on the other pairs I liked from different stores. Either they weren’t available or they weren’t on my size. I actually preferred the brown color pair but as the story of my life goes, my size wasn’t available. Geez, does everyone wear 8 1/2 in the US?

Because of that I decided to get it in black and just find another style of boots in brown. Yes, I was determined to find 2 pairs, black and brown in one store to save shipping. By the way, I turned to online shopping after checking out my favorite shoe stores with no success. As much as I resisted ordering boots online, without trying it on, I caved and crossed my fingers. The last time I bought a pair of shoes online was 3 or 4 years ago on Ebay. It was a pair of boots also .
