I once said that I’m not for Animal-Print Dresses. It’s just too much for me. Well, that was on July of this year. This Karen Kane Animal Print Dress changed my mind.

I like the subtlety of the animal print combined with the black. I also like the long full sleeves. I can wear this with brown tights underneath and brown boots. Another fashion tip of the day, I wouldn’t wear my animal-print heels with this dress. Coz then that would be uber-animal print everywhere .

Tropical storm Hannah just passed us by. My front screen door is not totally useless. Rain is still here making pitter patter noise in my roof though. What to do in this cozy rainy day? Well virtual shopping of course. I’m in my “I want this dress I can’t really afford and if even so, I wouldn’t buy it” mood. I’m wishing for this Yoana Baraschi Abstract Floral Dress.

I love the 3/4 balloon sleeves, the length is perfect, and the color of the abstract print makes the gray color pop. I’d wear this with knee-high boots or tights and oxford heels. Gorgeous! Except it’s $375 from Neiman Marcus. So off to another browsing day for luxurious dresses I can’t afford .

If you could please just ignore my stupid facial expressions..hehehe, you’ll see that I’m wearing a Brown velvet shirt dress, which by the way has been in my wardrobe way before I started having babies. That was like 10 years ago. To be able to wear it this time of my life is amazing, understandably . It’s one of the classic pieces in my closet. The wide velvet brown belt(3.99) around my waist, brown faux suede knee-high boots($29.99, PAYLESS), wood bangle($2.99), a single strand wood/beads long necklace($3.99, CATO) and a gold hoop earrings but you can’t really see it.

BTW, I had to take pictures inside coz it’s still actually 90 degrees outside, LOL, but I wanted to show a Fall outfit for my friend wearing “OUR” the belt. Also, there are cotton farmers around my house right now and I didn’t want them to think I’m crazy. “Oh look at that woman, taking picture of herself before she goes to “work” in the middle of the day”. Hahaha.

With age comes sophistication. This is probably why in my late 20’s I’ve evolved from my mid-calf chunky boots to sleek stacked knee-high boots during Fall and Winter season. Let me show you how I wear my knee-high boots.

Brown Faux suede square-toe knee-high boots($30, PAYLESS) with brown pleated bubbles print skirt, dark brown mini-button long sleeves blazer over a green crinkle cami.

Black faux suede round-toe knee high boots($30, PAYLESS) with a blue flower print summer baby doll dress. I love adding a bold color to spruce up my Fall wardrobe. I don’t put away all of my Spring/Summer dresses because I like to wear some of them with my boots. Fall doesn’t always mean just brown, black, grey or any dark tones. A little bit of blue, pink and purple wouldn’t hurt.
