Denim Knee-High Boots, Yay Or Nay?

I got so excited when I opened my mail today and saw the new promo for Cutesy Girl. I have purchased shoes from the sites before because it’s one of my favorite places to shop for bargain shoes. For Fall season, I’ve bought 2 pairs of knee-high from Cutesy Girl before. A Soda Shoes brown wedge boots and black studded pair. When I clicked on the link today I saw a pair of dark denim knee-high boots that just totally turned me off.

And wouldn’t you know it, the dark denim also comes in a lighter version. What’s even more disturbing about these denim boots are the elastic fabric knit top. Don’t get me wrong because I do love denim for jeans, skirts, and jackets. However, I find these denim boots really fugly. The idea alone doesn’t give me the feeling of going to the store to get myself a pair before everyone else buy it. Interestingly enough I have about 5 celebrities whom I think would actually go gaga for denim boots. Take a guess if you want after you let me know if you think denim knee-high-boots are Yay or Nay on the comment box. If you say Yay then bless your hears, and here’s the link to buy it.

Add this Cascading Chiffon Dress from Forever21 in my “I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing that outfit” list. There is no way in hell I’d wear this Fugly dress.

Who woke up one day, got ready for work, and decided to sketch a sheath dress then imagined grabbing a curtain in her living room and sewed it in the front of the dress? I don’t consider this avantgarde nor is it a clever design. My golly, what the hell were they thinking?

Gladiator Knee-High Boots, Yay Or Nay?

This is a part 2 of the gladiator knee-high sandals poll I did a few months ago. Back in summer actually. I didn’t understand how it was considered cute back then and I still don’t. Much to my chagrined, the gladiator boots trend went to the next level. Now we have knee-high gladiator boots, with heels no less, all over the place.

I could understand it if you’re Pink or Rihanna and you’re wearing it during a performance. I could see it on artists rocking out on stage. Or, if you’re a stripper, heh. However, I just can’t fathom regular people walking around in gladiator knee-high boots while it’s 20 freaking degrees outside. Even if it’s not for that matter. Please, tell me you’re not actually considering it. While boots are fashionable and chic, they’re actually comfortable during cold weather. They keep your legs and feet warm. C’mon now.

Looking at the gladiator boots on top, I can see myself throwing it out of the window after the 3rd buckle.

So, gladiator knee-high boots with heels, Yay or Nay?
