I do believe that twin-prints on dresses can be tricky to pull off. You don’t always find twin or multiple prints on 1 dress that mesh well for an overall look. Take for example this Papillon Blanc Twin-Print Dress.
The top is in black & white animal print while the bottom is also black & white floral print with a pop of purple colors. I got dizzy the first time I saw it. Well, it’s an exaggeration but you get my drift.
The problem with this dress is that each print is already bold and powerful, know what I mean? …read more
Petal Tiered Top : Yay Or Nay?

Call me crazy but I can’t stop smiling at this Petal Tiered Top. I am having mixed feelings toward it and I’m afraid it’s more to the YAY side.
That’s 9 tiers of sheen petals and a banded hem. It’s kinda cute without the risk of looking like feathers. Well, in the picture anyway. I wonder how it would look like on a person, close up. What do you think? Is this Petal tiered top a yay or nay in your book?
It’s from Forever21 for $38. Black color is available as well.

The Circle Bag, Yay Or Nay?

I’ve been seeing this circle tote on so many women since July. The first circle bag I saw was at the Mall and the woman had it in black and white pattern. When I saw it I told myself, quietly of course. “that’s ugly”. Every time I see it I feel like picking the circles one by one, lay ‘em on a plate, slither butter on top and pour maple syrup all over. LOL.
It’s kinda cute in a flapper fashion kind of way. Yah know like the dresses in the 30’s. But it’s not me. How about you? …read more

“Ombre” is a French word meaning “shaded”. Think of as the chic version of tie dyes . Multicolored done in blocks of stripes that starts from lighter shade then ending in a darker shade. Frankly, I love them. I’ve seen a lot come out these few months and I’m surprised I haven’t featured them at all. Well, I’m doing it now. I’ll show you guys some great examples, in affordable prices of course, them let me know if you like the ombre trend as well. Or not. Don’t be shy.

Gladiator Sandal Boots, Yay or Nay?

Ok, I am loving the gladiator trend that is coming out these days as much as the next fashionista. I loved Gwyneth Paltrow’s gladiator heels she wore with her Celine dress at Cannes that I copied it for less. I paired a gold gladiator flat sandals with the Under $100 Dress Look I put together 2 days ago.
BUT, this gladiator sandal boots is just going overboard in my opinion. It’s big fat NAY for me, Whoever creates these things need to settle down. Sure, fashion is about going to the next level. Gotta keep it growing, exciting and expanding. …read more

Remember I told you Heidi Montag wants us to dress like 2 cents whores with her clothing line Heidiwood? Well, here’s a proof, modeled in the Runway presentation by none other than Spencer Pratt’s “feminist”(according to NY Times).

Alrighty Heidi Montag. Go shake or do whatever to what your Momma gave you. LOVE your Christian Louboutin Pumps sweetie, but you won’t see me wearing your clothes, albeit their under $100 prices, anytime soon. Don’t worry, I still like you minus the boyfriend and I won’t be wearing Lauren Conrad’s leggings line either. So …read more

You know, I actually like this Lyndia Satin Print Halter Dress except for one thing. I don’t like the handkerchief hem style. It’s too beauty pageantry, heh. I love the print and the sale price of $27. I’m just not really digging the hem. Not my style. But if you like it, and you’re size 2, 4 or 6, go for it. It used to be $108 so that $27 sale price is what we call a STEAL in bargain shopping .
