Thank You For My Payless BOGO Shoes

Before I show you what I bought from the Payless BOGO shopping last weekend, let me tell you about a gift card I received for my birthday. My birthday was last December. I received a $20 Payless gift card in the mail. The card didn’t say anything on who it was from. I’ve only asked 1 dear friend and she said it wasn’t her. I have other suspects but I don’t want to ask just in case they didn’t coz I don’t want to put them in the spot. You know like, “errrr, I didn’t send it to you, now I feel bad for not sending you one“. That kind of awkward feeling. You know. What can I say, I have a vivid imagination..LOL. So to the lovely person who knows how much I love PAYLESS therefore giving me a gift card for a birthday present, THANK YOU. And you’d be proud of how wisely I spent it .

It took me a while to use my gift card. Only because the stores I’ve visited didn’t have what I wanted and I wasn’t just going to buy shoes just to buy shoes, yah know. I’ve finally stopped at the last store near me and well, last weekend for BOGO so I might as well.

I needed black flats. I have the burgundy and polka-dots but surprisingly enough, I didn’t have a black pair. Now I do, and it’s patent peep-toe. On sale for $10. Now I just have to find a glittery pair and an animal print pair .

A Woman can never have enough black shoes, right? I have black stilettos, black round-toe pumps, red pumps, and animal print pumps, but I didn’t have a plain black pair so this is as good as any. It’s platform and I love the criss-cross peep-toe details. It was actually the first pair I saw and after I tried it on I couldn’t stop looking at it. Even though I put it back where it was. On sale for $10 as well.

Since it was BOGO sale, one pair was only half-priced. After 2 pairs of shoes and tax, I still have $3 left in my gift card. Woohoo!

Thanks again to whomever sent the gift card. *mwaaaahh*

A Burgundy Flat and $7 Espadrille From PAYLESS

I used to have an aversion to flats after my first pair like 4 years ago coz I like height in my shoes but when I stumbled upon a blue polka-dot pair, I’m not such a flat-snob anymore. When I saw a cover ad of the burgundy pleated and ribbon flats from PAYLESS sent to my e-mail for $16.99 I know I had to have a pair.

I LOVE IT! Now I only need to find 3 more pairs to complete my flat collection. A leopard print pair, a plain black pair and a silver pair. After I find those 3 I’m done with shopping for flats. I’m going back to my sexy stilettos .

While at PAYLESS to buy the aforementioned pair of burgundy flats, my very trained eyes saw a green floral print tie-espadrille on sale for $7.

I prayed to God it was in size 8. Halleluyah, it was. I’m looking forward to wearing it next Spring and Summer. One outfit in mind for this espadrille is my white eyelet dress from CATO

Kors Michael Kors Espadrille Flat, $61

This Seaside Nubuck Espadrille from Kors Michael Kors is now on sale for $61. Compare to it’s original price of $175. First, I like the navy blue color. Then the bow on vamp reminds me of a Men’s comfortable moccasin for some reason. The rope platform sole of course makes it an espadrille flat. I could see this worn with jeans for Fall and then shorts or skirts during Spring and Summer. Available sizes are 6 – 9. It’s Michael Kors for WAY under $100, what could be better?
