Now that Goody’s is going out of business I figured I might as well take advantage of it. I said the store has brand names in affordable items but I do think they need to lower their sale prices further. If they really want to get rid of their stuff, they need to slash more off of the original prices. There are still a lot left because with how the economy is going, shoppers are not willing to pay $25 on a top if they could easily get the same thing at TJMaxx or Ross for $10 or $5. Just a thought.

Having said that, after digging through a LOT of racks, I found an Ashley Judd Flare White jeans.

This Ashley Judd white jeans is regularly priced at $39 but I only paid $13 for it. I wish it was lower like $10 since Goody’s is going out of business anyway. What can I say, I wish for bargains too much . Oh well, $13 is a good price. I’m looking forward to wearing this white jeans soon. Most probably in the Spring and Summer. I also found an Ashley Judd Teal top that would go nicely with this. I’ll talk about that some other time.

If you have Goody’s in your area, check it out now before everything disappears. I’d probably visit the 2 stores near me sometime before they close. I’m biding my time. I’m trying to wait ’till everything are like less than $10 (LOL).

There’s a funny story about this Breakin’ Loose White Spaghetti straps Smocked dress. I didn’t know I had it…LOL. I was setting bags aside in my room yesterday so the Hubs could vacuum and run the carpet cleaner when I came upon a bag from Goody’s. I was surprised to find this white smocked dress. Suffice it to say, I wore it when we went out to run some errands .

As soon as I saw this brown toned floral print V-neck tunic I knew I had to have it. I kept putting it back on the rack but I also kept going back to it. Hehe. It must have been the tie-cap sleeves that drew me back over and over again . It’s from Fang Fashion collection. Originally priced as $25. I only paid $9.96.

Here’s another floral print top from the Fang-Fashion collection. The print is really lovely and I love the bold contrast of wide brown and red band around the bust line . It used to be $25 but on sale for $7.47. Perfect for Spring/Summer eh? Or underneath a blazer or shrug/boleros for Fall?

And this is another addition to my burgeoning polka dot collection . Navy blue polka-dot top with a hint of lace on the v-neckline and a criss-cross on the back. I love details on clothing. This was also $25 on sale for $7.47. This top is from the Self Esteem USA collection.

Ashley Judd now has her own clothing line. You can find them at Goody’s. It’s one of my favorite stores. I’ve digged quite a lot of my stylish bargain haulages there like my black polka dot wrap dress and the tan version few months later. Right now, the Ashley Judd Collection is a little expensive for my pocket, ranging from $50 to $20. But I’m sure in a few months there will be some items on sale. I’ll check out her collection sometime next week to see what she’s got. Meanwhile, you can check the collection yourself by visiting Goody’s Online.

By the way, a portion of the proceeds from the Ashley Judd Collection will be donated to Good Deeds for Schools. A community-based initiative that awards select schools $10,000 to fund the projects of their choice. Being a humanitarian is one of the many things I’ve always liked about Ashley so I’m not surprised with this shopping incentive at all.

Now on to some of my dresses I picked for this entry…

Plum Halter-Tube Eyelet Dress
I dugged this among the great bargains at ROSS. It was tagged $3.99. I absolutely love the color and you just can’t beat that price. This is the dress I casually mentioned when I showed you my picks from Clothez 2 The Edge store. It has a cord tie-belt around the waist. I haven’t worn it yet coz I’ve reserved it for our vacation in NY at the end of this month.

Multicolor Flower Print Tube Dress
There is a blue rose pin and blue ribbon to accentuate this lovely printed tube dress. This is perfect for a garden wedding party or at Church with a white cropped shrug. If I remember it right, I paid $12 for it from AAFES. The same year I bought the black printed halter dress above.

Tan Brown V-Neck Polka-Dot Wrap Dress
This is the tan version of the black polka-dot dress I found from Goody’s for only $4.99. The original price was $30 so it’s definitely a STEAL. I like to have the same things in different colors so when I saw this tan brown color 2 months after I bought the black version I was smiling for ear to ear .

For accessories, I wore a long strand of faux pearls I found from flea market for $1. Red beads chandelier earrings which I bought for $7 years ago. And of course, my D&G sunnies .

FYI, I went back to the store 2 months after I found this black polka-dot dress and guess what I found? The tan version. I’ll try to remember to take a picture of me in it with different shoes and accessories of course the next time I wear it. JOY!
