Sweater Cardigans have become such a chic cover-up options. It could be the playful balloon or butterfly sleeves like the one in the picture. Or the wearer’s ability to either tie it up front with the sash or just let it all flow, smoothly. The open front sweater cardigan for example could still showcase whatever top you have underneath. So you know, for posterity’s sake . And since the color of this sweater cardigan is kinda drabby for gray, play around with it with a bold color like red, or yellow or purple top underneath. Or, something in print.

It’s $27.80 from Forever21. BTW, you can also use this a cover up over a dress. It doesn’t have to be a top & jeans ensemble. Really, the possibilities are endless.

Here is my favorite fashionista from this week’s crop of remixers at one of my favorite flickr group called Wardrobe Remix.

This is fraeulein 2eck. I love the contrast of yellow underneath the gray cardigan sweater. And the blue plaid skirt over opaque tights is making me want to bust out my own skirts to pair with my boots. I’m not much into leg warmer but hey, if you can rock it, go ahead. And fraeulein 2eck did rock it with her lace-up booties.
