I like how celebs are utilizing the basic tees. In here, Jessica is just wearing a soild grey shirt, embellished by an initial pendant necklace, and a boyfriend jacket over it. Simple yet chic with the addition of skinny jeans and flats. Even Gwyneth Paltrow is wearing basic tee with a Stella McCartney jacket at the latter’s show in Paris Fashion Week. Both celebrity fashionistas have convinced me to buy a pack of basic tees.

By the way, I’m not completely sure but I think Jessica Biel’s “J” Necklace is from Ariel Gordon. You can get it at Max and Chloe for $105.

A denim jacket, however tricky it could be considering the denim on denim fashion faux pas, is actually one of the must-haves in our closet. I especially love wearing my Levi’s Denim Jacket during Fall Season. It is such a chic jacket when paired with top & skirt, or fall dresses ensembles.

If you can’t find a Levi’s Denim Jacket, which is probably one of the most affordable and great quality denim jacket out there, you can visit Old Navy to find one for about $30. Just to start you off of course.

The Mother & Daughter Plaid Dress Looks

I still can’t believe I actually liked the plaid dress I wore yesterday. As promised, here are a couple of pictures of me wearing it.

I wish I was able to take a picture of me and my daughter together because she was also wearing her own smocked plaid dress. The Hubs took pictures of her outside while I got ready, then we left and when we got back home she took a nap. After I put all the groceries away that’s when I had time to take pictures of me in my dress. Ah, the life of a busy and stylish mom, huh?

Well, here’s my daughter in her own plaid dress which costs only $6 from Wal-Mart.

2 different Spring Looks using 1 dress. All we had to do was change the shoes and accessories. A pair of stud earrings like this one from Forever21 (or your real diamond studs) would go nicely with both looks. The floral print in the dress is already bold so minimizing the accessories would be our best bet.

I saw the Chiffon ruffle top from Forever21 and it reminded me of my Ashley Judd Keyhole Tie top. I just had to make a Look For Less outfit for all of us. I am really loving this particular style of top this year. I can see myself buying a few more in the days to come.
