Trousers are very chic bottoms. We should all have a couple of pairs in our closet. Especially if you work at an office setting. So let me help you out with these 2 BCBGMAXAZRIA Trousers that are on sale for under $50 each.

BCBGMAXAZRIA Carla Pant, $49.98. Some details include cototn blend pintripes, a 1.75″ wide waistband with belt loops, 2 angled pockets on the side-front, and double welt pockets on the back. Available in sizes 4, 6, 8, and 10.

BCBGMAXAZRIA Carla Vapor Slim Flare Pant, $49.98. This is slim fit with a bit flair on the bottom. Other details include a 2″ waistband with belt loops, 2 front on-seam pockets and 2 black slit pockets. There are only 3 left in sizes 8 and 10.

Actually, I have been for months. It seems wide pants/jeans is making waves all over the place now. I’ve had this dark wash low-rise wide-leg jeans for a while now. I haven’t worn it yet coz I’m a little stumped with how wide the legs are. The pictures are not really showing the wideness justice but it is wide.

I bought it at AAFES for $14.99. I do know this wide jeans would look good with my Mossimo Zebra pumps that I bought a few months ago. And with my other heels of course. Even the knee-high boots for Fall season. I also have ideas for tops and blouses. So yes Sasha, I’ve got my wide pants jeans ready. Now the question is, where and when will I wear it. I’ll let you know .

T.J. Maxx Fall 2007 Fashion Guide

You can not be a bargain fashionista without encountering T.J. Maxx in your vocabulary. Your Style It Less fashionista is certainly a T.J. Maxx shopper. This store which always has good deals has put out a 2007 Fall Fashion Guide. There are 5 Must Have for this approaching Autumn season. And they are:

# A cropped jacket with lots of swing in a menswear tweed or even plaid!
# A knit dress: especially in grey.
# A dress, sweater or blouse with an interesting sleeve.
# A top with a feminine collar, bow tie, cowl neck or turtleneck.
# A structured frame bag; embossed or patent leather.

Furthermore, menswear adds touches of feminine sophistication this year. Suits look are quite a must have once Autumn Equinox rolls down apparently. Coincidentally, this is the direction I have seen myself going these days. I’ve been building up my trouser selection which is why I bought a black pintriped pants and a brown trouser so far. And the tailored MOD inspired classic blouses like the polka-dot blouse and BITTEN pink poplin blouse that I’ve bought recently. Wait ’till you see the 2 blouses and plaid skirt I bought last weekend to get me ready for Fall. After reading TJ Maxx’s guide, I think I’ve navigated towards the right direction .

Steve and Barry’s Brown Trouser For $5.49

This Vista brown flare trouser is my first pick when I entered the Steve and Barry’s store from our recently concluded Upstate New York road trip. I found it in the Clearance section and as soon as I saw my size, I grabbed it immediately. $5.49 for a trouser, Come On. Too bad they didn’t have it in black as well. There were pink ones but who wears pink trousers these days? Well no one under 50 anyway. This Steve and Barry’s pant is the main reason why I opted to buy a classic piece from Sarah Jessica Parker’s BITTEN line. I’m trying to build my trouser selection so even though I saw skirts and casual tops for like $3 each I decided to get this trouser instead. Yah know, there comes a time when you just have to let go of some sales to have “mature” pieces in your wardrobe .

I should add that I was so relieved when I tried it on and it fit perfectly. To quote my hubby, “NIIIICCE” . After all the food I ate at my in-laws’s family reunion party, it felt so good knowing I’m still the same size as when I left for vacation… LOL.

Help Me Find Tops For My Black Pinstriped Trouser

I bought this My Michelle black pinstriped trouser from the past Memorial Day SALE but I haven’t had a chance to wear it. I want to wear it to Chruch first but I’ve discovered I don’t have the proper top for it. I know that I want something solid like black, grey or white. Even pale pink would do. Definitely something that doesn’t show any signs of cleavage, heh. A feminine solid top that could so go with any of my skirts and other trousers that I plan on buying in the future. I have all sorts of printed blouses in different cuts such as babydoll, smocked , camisoles, etc… I don’t think they would compliment the trouser the way I have it my head so here I am in search for affordable blouses with the aforementioned specifications .

I searched the 15DollarStore to check if they have anything I might consider and here are some of them. Let me know what you think. If you have any suggestions please feel free to share them with me. It will be much apprecaited. Thanks.

The silvery chain on the V-neck will be a nice coverage. I like the wide waistband that drops into the waist and the drawstrings on the sides makes it even more feminine.

What could be more feminine than a satin top with a skinny belt? I’m going to solve the surplice neckline by wearing a black skin tight cami inside. A chunky black long beads necklace would be the perfect accessory.

This white voile embroidered top would be a nice option as well.

I’m still searching for more. I’m also considereing tops with ruffles on the front and long sleeves ones in time for Fall and Winter.
