As promised the other day, here are the new shoes I purchased a couple of weeks ago from Cutesy Shoes. They finally arrived 2 days ago.
I picked this Classified White Gladiator Flats ($18.99) instead of a black pair because I think it would look great with bright colored sundresses. I already have a pair of black gladiator flats from CATO anyway. I had to educate my husband on the name of the shoes because when I asked him to take a picture (2nd image) he called it as “some Roman s**t“. I informed him that these types of shoes …read more

All this recession talks have rendered me depressed at least twice a day. My husband even warned me to stop being depressed because he can’t afford to send me to an institution because of the recession. Isn’t he sweet? Then one day while watching the Financial portion of NBC’s TODAY show, an expert told Meredith Viera that people need to stop getting depressed about the economy. It’s really the last thing any of us should feel or do.
That statement gave me a major epiphany. I’d probably get some eye rolling from some of you for sharing this but I …read more

Due to how the economy is doing, Thrift Store Shopping is now the ‘It” thing to do when it comes to shopping. While I’m glad it is, I can’t help but smirk and say. “I Told You So” at the same time. Here are some 5 Thrift Store Shopping Tips you might be able to use to help you out just in case it’s your …read more

I told myself I wouldn’t wear plaid prints. I refused to wear it actually. But, as always in life and in fashion, Never Say Never. Remember my flats aversion? Now I’m moving on to the plaid trend.
I saw this Plaid Babydoll Dress at Wal-Mart for $12. I just couldn’t put it down. I debated with my inner self if I should get it. As you can see, I ended up getting it. I figured I wouldn’t know how I would look in plaid if I don’t wear one, right? I’m not going to necessarily buy all sorts of plaid …read more

Bergdorf Goodman is calling this Christian Dior Safari Ankle-Tie Pumps as the “aggressive black pumps” for Spring. Aggressive indeed. Look at those platform heels, whewww. It is GORGEOUS. I love the silvertone hardware and the studded heels. I’d like to have a pair but I can’t possibly afford $1,390.00. Even if I can, I have better things to spend that money on. 2 monthly car payments and 2 weeks worth of groceries perhaps, hehe. This is when the bargain fashionista in me kicks in full gear. I’m pretty sure I can find a few pairs of Dior Safari Ankle-Tie Pumps …read more

A pretty and refreshing top for the Summer is this strapless embroidered eyelet hem top from Forever21. The tie is removable. Isn’t it cute? The white color is so feminine while the navy color gives it a little bit of bold edge. As you can see, the hem features an embroidery butterfly eyelet design which actually what first drew me in to this top.
While the white top could go with dark denim, while the navy blue top could go with a pair of white jeans. what I’m trying to suggest is, get both colors. It’s only $12.90 each so …read more
