Finally, yesterday’s weather gave me an opportunity to rock out my Ashley Judd white jeans. I bought the white jeans when Goody’s closed in February and I’ve been waiting ever since to wear it.

"I Am Sick" Virtual Shopping

I’m really not feeling good right now. Stuffy nose and constant coughing is doing my head in. I can’t think. It’s hard to come up with a few sentences let alone come up with a couple Under $100 outfits. So right now I’m curing myself with drinking lots of water and virtual shopping. Shopping (and chocolate) cures everything (you didn’t know that? ) I’m hoping virtual shopping would make me feel a lot better. So here are my picks :

Carmen Marc Valvo blue chiffon halter dress, $1090. I first saw this dress worn by my favorite soap star Laura Wright and I haven’t stopped thinking about it. I wish I could afford it and have a special occasion to wear it. *DROOL*

Under $100 Look : LBD & Red Accents

Are you going to something fancy anytime soon? A Hollywood premiere maybe. Why don’t you show those D-Listers how to look hot and classy at the same time with this red accented LBD ensemble?. It’s a little too hot for me but I could use the red and black peep toe pumps, and silver clutch with something else though . You could nix the shoes, go for metallic silver stilettos and keep the silver clutch as well. Something understated yet sophisticated. Mixing the black with red and silver in this combo could be risque but it’s soooo much fun. Isn’t it?

My Valentine’s Day Outfit : Black and Red Combo

For last night’s Valentine’s Day outfit, I opted for a top and trouser look. Black as the basic and red for accents. It was cold last night and I really didn’t feel like wearing tights underneath a dress. If I was going to wear a dress, I wanted to show my bare legs with sexy black stilettos. Know what I mean? With the cold weather who refuses to leave North Carolina, freaking ey, I decided to go with pants instead.

Christmas Picture Look : White Dress W/ Red Accents

For this year’s Christmas picture I’ve decided to style everyone in the family in red and white theme. Red and white accents is such an appropriate Christmas theme if done right, don’t you think? I bought this Breakin’ Loose white dress from Goody’s as part of my birthday shopping spree last year for only $6.49. The red skinny patent belt is from a 3-set skinny belt pack(red, yellow, & black) from Wal-Mart for only $8. My infamous red heels from Payless for $19.99, white Claire’s bangle, $2.50, a pair of Liz Claiborne drop diamond earings(not seen), and a red cardigan for $8. I forego wearing a necklace coz I didn’t want to go overboard. That would just look tacky in my opinion. I wanted the color red to be the focal point somehow without ovewhelming the whole ensemble. The white dress certainly made that possible.

With the cardigan look after the fold…

I decided at the last minute to cover up my huge arms with a red cardigan. I was looking for a bolero style by the way but I decided at the last minute so I didn’t have time to search further. I bought the red cardigan at Wal-Mart the night before the day of our appointment. I was lucky to have found it. Whewww. I believe it worked out in the end. I can’t decide which looks better though. Well, I’ve leaned on with the cardigan look since that’s how I did it during the picture session. But I like the sans the cardigan look as well.

Either way, I think it’s evident that I(kids and hubby too) looked festive that day . Thank goodness the weather was around 65′ degrees that day. I really didnt’ want to walk around SEARS in heels. But then again, we did a lot of errands after the photo session that I didn’t have a choice but walk around in red heels after all. Imagine me pushing a cart with a 15 month old in the baby seat at Michael’s, Dollar Store, Wal-Mart and a brunch at Bojangles. Talk about fabulous….LOL.
