ABS by Allen Schwartz shirt dress. Or a mini-dress. Call it however you want to call it. either way, it ’spretty. It’s $53 compare to it’s original price of $150. Too bad this purple(amethyst) color is not available. You can have it in raspberry though. Ah. Gorgeous isn’t it? I’d wear this with tights and boots right now like I did with my OLD NAVY Nautical blue mini-dress. Then with heels or flats for Spring or Summer.

GAP’s Fall Must Have? An LBD

According to GAP, the Fall must have is the classic Little Black Dress. I’ll have to digress a bit coz I consider LBD, an all-around classic must have. Every woman should have at least 1 LBD Dress in their closet. No matter what the season is. From the GAP selections of LBD, of course I picked a shirtdress. Didn’t you know I love shirtdresses? . This one is pleated, with sash belts and hidden pockets. Gorgeous! The LBD dresses at GAP are all under $100. That should make us all very very happy.

My Shirt Dress W/ Wide Belt and Boots Look

A few months ago I found a wide velvet belt with gold studs trim and woven metal ring buckle for $3.99 at the PX. Coincidentally, a friend of mine bought the exact same thing. But she had a dilemma. She didn’t know what to wear it with. I told her not to worry coz I’d help her out. I suggested this ensemble:

Wear it with a shirt dress. I’ll show you how sometime . It’s a good ensemble for Fall. Shirt dress with wide belt and knee-high boots. Trust Me

If you could please just ignore my stupid facial expressions..hehehe, you’ll see that I’m wearing a Brown velvet shirt dress, which by the way has been in my wardrobe way before I started having babies. That was like 10 years ago. To be able to wear it this time of my life is amazing, understandably . It’s one of the classic pieces in my closet. The wide velvet brown belt(3.99) around my waist, brown faux suede knee-high boots($29.99, PAYLESS), wood bangle($2.99), a single strand wood/beads long necklace($3.99, CATO) and a gold hoop earrings but you can’t really see it.

BTW, I had to take pictures inside coz it’s still actually 90 degrees outside, LOL, but I wanted to show a Fall outfit for my friend wearing “OUR” the belt. Also, there are cotton farmers around my house right now and I didn’t want them to think I’m crazy. “Oh look at that woman, taking picture of herself before she goes to “work” in the middle of the day”. Hahaha.

Halogen Shirt Dress Under $30 From Nordstrom

A black Halogen Dress shirt on sale for $28.90 from it’s original price of $98 from Nordstrom’s Under $30 bin. A definitely must have for my Fall ensembles. Imagine me or yourself in it with a black knee-high boots. I love the chest pockets, the button tap sleeves and the tie-belt details. It doesn’t look like the fabric will protect you from cold weather but I’m sure it’s fine for the slight breeze on the early Fall.
