Hubby forgot his cellphone in the car, mine died and we were meeting people for lunch so we had to run out of there after he got what he needed from Radio Shack. Thank goodness it was a delicious lunch or I would’ve been pissed for missing out on a great sale event..hehehe .

Prints, particularly floral print is really going to be big this year. A trend in my opinion that never died in the first place. If it somehow disappeared, it was only for a second and it always comes back with a vengeance. I’m slowly trying to get ready for Spring and Summer, hence this Hot Tempered Floral Print Satin Top with solid blue satin pleated surplice neck and empire waist which ties in the back. It used to be $30 but was on sale for $9. AWESOME! Not only do I love the floral prints, I also love the deep color of blue which happens to be my favorite color. I love Hot Tempered too. I’m glad I could buy them at Goody’s, in sale prices no less.

I have reasons why I love boleros. They never go out of style which is why they’re part of my 50 Fashion Trends List. No matter what year you are in, boleros will always make certain outfits complete. They’ll keep you warm on the days you don’t necessarily want to wear a jacket but still want a light cover-up. AND, boleros hide the big arms that I’m happened to be blessed with. These brown and red boleros are from Say What NY? brand. They were on sale for $5.90 each. They used to be $30 each. I figured I’d get both since I know boleros will always be a nice accessory to have in my closet. I can certainly play around with their colors. I wish Goody’s had a black one too but they didn’t. Oh well. These two should suffice

Every time I visited CATO last month, I had been watching this Satin Purple Blouse and hoping that it would go on sale soon. Crossing my fingers at the same time that when it does, I’d be there to snatch one. Well it finally did. 2 nights ago. As soon as I saw this cap sleeves, surpliced V-neckline, with sash belt purple blouse I was sighing in relief. FINALLY. A lot of you might say the original price of $17.99 is nothing but being the bargain shopper that I am and knowing CATO puts out sales all the time, I just had to wait. And it paid off. I only paid $12.99 . There were only 2 left and relief washed over me when I picked this up and it’s in my size. Whewww.

First outfit in mind? I thought of pairing this purple blouse with my black pinstripes trouser from My Michelle. Any pair of black stilettos would be fine for Spring and Summer but since we’re in Fall/Winter season, I’d probably wear it with my black knee-high boots. I’m getting excited .

The Flirt jeans. Dark wash and flare-boot cut. I had to dig a little bit for my size from the leftover mayhem that the BLACK Friday shoppers left behind but I found it. Thank God. It used to be $30, on sale for $15.

Navy blue nautical mini dress. It’s the only one I really cared for after witnessing the mess under the pile of rummage on the clearance section. There are other nice stuff in very good sale prices but they were all too big and it was seriously pissing me off digging through all the whole thing. I saw this mini dress and I was done.

That’s about it. I found a couple stuff for the baby girl, paid for ‘em and was out of there. I didn’t plan on sticking around to watch crazy people get even more crazier. Frankly, they take the joy out of shopping.

I found these very casual and very soft JW v-neck sweaters at AAFES(military dept. store) last week. They’re actually green and purple but their pictures are not doing them justice, respectively. They also have a touch of shiny look in ‘em. Not to overwhelming though which is what I like. I don’t want to look like I’m wearing a “christmas” sweater. Nothing wrong with them, just not my style. Anyhoo, I paid $3 for each of them. They used to be $12.99 each. And of course I bought 2 .

I’ve already worn the purple sweater with jeans and the burgundy flats. A very nice casual get up for an everyday wear.

As soon as I saw this brown toned floral print V-neck tunic I knew I had to have it. I kept putting it back on the rack but I also kept going back to it. Hehe. It must have been the tie-cap sleeves that drew me back over and over again . It’s from Fang Fashion collection. Originally priced as $25. I only paid $9.96.

Here’s another floral print top from the Fang-Fashion collection. The print is really lovely and I love the bold contrast of wide brown and red band around the bust line . It used to be $25 but on sale for $7.47. Perfect for Spring/Summer eh? Or underneath a blazer or shrug/boleros for Fall?

And this is another addition to my burgeoning polka dot collection . Navy blue polka-dot top with a hint of lace on the v-neckline and a criss-cross on the back. I love details on clothing. This was also $25 on sale for $7.47. This top is from the Self Esteem USA collection.

Teal and Orange colors. I like to get 2 or more of the same thing in different colors. that’s my quirkiness, I suppose. Used to be $11.99 each but were on sale for $1.99 each. Hello! Ruffled v-neck trim and hem. You could see blazer/jacket/coat/shrug over ‘em for Fall right? Then by itself on warmer weather. So really, they’re a good purchase

How about this teal tunic? Ruching on the neck and the way the square neck flows onto the cap shoulders is gorgeous. Again, another top that could transition perfectly on both cold and warm weather. I’m thinking of wearing this with a black trouser this Fall. Originally $15.99, on sale for $4.99. I wish they had the purple color in my size. The ones left were too big. Arrgh, I was pissed.. LOL.

Now this is definitely a Spring/Summer dress, unless of course I find a solid color shrug to wer over it which frankly I’m not even going to try. This print halter dress in teal blue used to be $34.99, but I only paid $5.99 for it. OMGosh! Seriously, CATO has a lot of nice stuff on sale. You just really have to possess my errrr, bargain digging uber-talent. Hehehe.

Style It Less Tip : Don’t be shy on buying stuff for next year’s Spring/Summer season. It’s actually a good time now coz chances are, stores are selling them in bargain prices.
