I have been too occupied with the 2009 Oscar Awards Fashion in the past few days that I haven’t visited Forever21 until today. On my visit, I found a few spring/summer dresses that I wouldn’t mind wearing this year. Let me show them to you.

Here are some Spring Dresses from Neiman Marcus that I’m coveting these days. Hey, a girl can dream right? True to Style It Less style, we covet, kick our heels and find something similar to fit our budget. And we’re good with that, aren’t we?

Halogen Print Dress With Contrast Trim($138). I love the colorblock trim in the straps, bust area and hem. A very nice floral print with solid color in order to not overwhelm the dress.

BCBGMAXAZRIA Floral Matte Jersey Dress($180). Oh I love the fresh and light colors of this dress. Soooo Spring, isn’t it?

First of all I think Britney Spears is actually wearing a beach cover-up. But, leave it to Brit-Brit to wear it as a regular halter dress while out shopping. That halter-tie around her neck is holding on for deal life..LOL. How I wish to get a hold of her closet and give her a make-over. You think Daddy/Conservator would let me? Probably not, but we can sure do it here. Let’s show Britney how to wear a white halter dress without looking untidy, choked up and a little skanky, in an affordable way no less. I would really love to see Britney’s real hair. I’m pretty sure it’s all grown now. She probably has a cute bob underneath all that wig. I wish she’d embrace that about herself, yah know? But if you haven’t noticed, the poor girl is so unhappy with herself that she’s so self-destructive. I think once she truly embraces herself, all her troubles will go away.

Just in case you missed it, Maxi Dresses will be one of the Spring Trends this year. I’m probably going to have a couple of them just to keep up with the trends. Actually, I have an old one just waiting to be aired out . I bought a new one last night. From good ‘ol Wal-Mart. To think I was only there for Q-tips and Baby Wipes…LOL. Freaking ‘Ey. I don’t think anyone goes to Wal-Mart to get just what they initially intended to get. Have you you noticed that in your Wal-Mart experience? But anyhoooo, I eyed this retro floral print maxi dress while passing the clothes aisle. I couldn’t just keep going my way. I had to stop and well, you know the rest..LOL. $14.99 Maxi Dress. There were other prints but I picked this one. I saw a diamond pattern similar to this one in pale pink which I might eventually get one of these days.

I’m almost ready for Spring, are you?

SIL Shopping : My $15 SELE Colorblock Dress

I told you this $15 SELE Colorblock Dress was mine, didn’t I? . It came really fast. I ordered it on the 23rd and it arrived on the 25th. Standard shipping and handling fee was $6.95. I love this colorblock dress. I love the panels of green, black and blue. Check out the braided straps? Soo pretty. I give 15DollarStore 2 thumbs up. BTW, when you buy a dress at 15DollarStore, check out the sizing chart. This medium size dress is actually size 7/9.

You have no idea how that makes me soooooo happy, especially when I tried it on. It’ll be a while for me to wear it though since it’s still cold where I live. We’re waking up to an average of 45degrees accompanied by wind everyday. When I wear this dress, I’d love to wear it as is, with no jackets whatsoever. The way Sasha wore her own colorblock dress. I’m thinking of wearing black stilettos with mine though. So I’m guessing, this will be my 11th year anniversary dress . That would be in May. By that time, the weather is perfect and hopefully I’ll be bordering size 7. Wish me luck…hehehe.

This SELE Stretch Color Block Dress W/ Braided Straps dress is the one I was telling Budget Babe that will finally make me purchase a dress from 15Dollarstore in the 10 Spring Floral Dress, $15 each post. I mean what’s not to love? I adore the colorblock combinations of yellow, blue and black. The braided halter-straps is just tooo sexy to pass up. A month of intense exercising and I will fit into the medium size perfectly . That’s my size now but I’m guessing a perfect silhouette look will be much better. Aaaahhh, I can’t wait. Leave one for me, please? Thanks.

Spring Sale Shopping @ SEARS. $4.99 Dresses, etc

I LOOOOOOOOVE it when SEARS has their $4.99 Clearance Sale. I once raked in Apostrophe skirts and Canyon River Blues jeans for $4.99 each. Well, the store is having those sales again so I took advantage of them this past weekend. I didn’t go all crazy though. I had to think whether the “trend” for next year’s Spring/Summer season will match the stuff I bought. So I got a couple of dresses that fits that criteria. I saw some skirts I wanted too but they were too big. Dammit. I might have been too late in getting my hand on these awesome bargains. Crap… LOL.
