Can I rave about my black and purple pleated skirt first? I found it at CATO for $9.99. It’s black with purple round prints. It’s so pretty. As soon as I saw it, I knew I would wear knee-high boots with it this season. I’d probably wear it with pumps or wedges come Spring/Summer.

Yesterday’s weather was windy and a bit chilly. A perfect day for a dress,  knee-high boots and blazer ensemble. So you betcha I went for it. It was also the perfect day to use my new red Sasha tote.

For last night’s Valentine’s Day outfit, I opted for a top and trouser look. Black as the basic and red for accents. It was cold last night and I really didn’t feel like wearing tights underneath a dress. If I was going to wear a dress, I wanted to show my bare legs with sexy black stilettos. Know what I mean? With the cold weather who refuses to leave North Carolina, freaking ey, I decided to go with pants instead.

This is a perfect get up for those special occasions like dates, weddings, etc. The jacket is reversible therefore you can wear it either way. I really love the pink accent on the waist and throwing in the grey stilettos to spice it up. For an arm candy option, go for a clutch. Either in metallic or black. Sexy Chic don’t you think?

This white with pinstripes button blouse from Apostrophe, adorned with ruffled V-neck and detachable belt is perfect with a plain black trouser or jeans or black skirt. You can play around with the skirt by picking either gored, pleated or even a pencil cut. When you wear it pants/jeans, choose stilettos or peep-toe pumps. I’m getting ready for Fall season as I intimated in the TJ Maxx Fall Guide post the other day. I would’ve picked a different style of shoes but that’s what Hot Couture has in their store. I mean it’s not bad but I can think of better shoewear for this tunic and jeans combo.
