I did some “virtual shopping” at Wet Seal this morning and here are the 5 Spring and Summer tops for Under $25 that I like during my perusal.

I like all the tops but I think the 2 last ones, Dash Flower top and gauze floral top are my favorites. I like the flowing/trapeze cut of the gauze top. I love the floral print on the black color. So which top do you like?

Strapless Embroidered Eyelet Tops

A pretty and refreshing top for the Summer is this strapless embroidered eyelet hem top from Forever21. The tie is removable. Isn’t it cute? The white color is so feminine while the navy color gives it a little bit of bold edge. As you can see, the hem features an embroidery butterfly eyelet design which actually what first drew me in to this top.

While the white top could go with dark denim, while the navy blue top could go with a pair of white jeans. what I’m trying to suggest is, get both colors. It’s only $12.90 each so it’s not that bad at all. If something is pretty and affordable, get it in 2 or 3 different colors. That’s just one of my shopping mantras, .

Yes, another 50% off top that I found last weekend. A One Step Up blue nautical top with the banded empire waist, and cute ruched tie-sleeves. It’s actually cuter up-close . Again, a nice top for either jeans or shorts. I’d wear this with mini or length skirts as well. Another blue to add to my already long list of blue tops. What can I say, it’s my favorite color

Bargain Shopping : One Step Up Purple Tunic, $6

It’s been a while since I’ve posted my bargains huh? Well, this month anyway..hehe. I found this One Step Up Purple Tunic last Saturday at the PX (military dept. store) on sale for $6. 50% off, *Woot*. I’d be rocking this purple top with shorts or jeans. The body is a little loose for a knee-length skirt so I might wear it with a denim mini skirt as well . Great deal huh? Love the purple!!

I also bought this Younique blue paisley print top when I bought my My Michelle black and white embroidered top. On sale for $9. Cute eh? I instantly fell in love with the blue color. Then the paisley print couldn’t make me put it down. I love the ruffled cap sleeves and hem too. Perfect for summer . Another great find from another bargain shopping fix. WOOT!

Feeling Pretty W/ My Brown Floral Smocked Tube Top

I’m really starting to like CATO a lot. I’ve bought a lot of stylish clothes from there lately in very affordable prices might I add. First was the white cropped pants which I bought for only $12.99, the white eyelet summer dress which was on sale for $13.99, and then the dark blue MOD fitted blouse for only $7.99. Now here’s another one(among others) I dug out of their clearance rack the other day. This brown floral smocked tube top that actually ties on the back was only $4.99. I wore this yesterday and I felt so pretty I didn’t wanna touch raw chicken to cook for dinner. LOL. Whuuut? My husband didn’t see what I had in the bag when I went shopping actually so when he got home from work yesterday he was like, “oh niice, is that new? Errrr, yeah??? . Anyhoo, I wore it with my low-rise Levi’s jeans and barefoot since we didn’t go anywhere yesterday. Just lounged around the house with my pretty new smocked tube top .

If you noticed in the last picture, I broke the “fashion rule” by not wearing any necklace. I just didn’t feel like it. I thought going bare was much better. Besides, I’m always breaking “rules” anyway which is MY fashion rule.

What do you think? Should I stop breaking the fashion rules?
