Raving About Schick Quattro

It’s summer, and you know what that means right? Wearing short dresses, and shorts to beat the heat therefore showing your lovely legs. I’ve been using the new Schick Quattro for weeks now and I Like It. It has 4 blades which gets the job done. Plus it has 2 conditioning strips to make shaving smooth and having smooth looking (and feeling) legs for days. AND, it has the best handle compare to all the razors out there that I’ve tried. I can’t stand it when I drop my razor while shaving. I haven’t dropped my Schick Quattro at all.

The Schick Quattro comes with a nifty holder that sticks onto the wall so when you’re done using it, store it there and it keeps your razor dry. That prevents it from rusting so really, you’re saving money . You can buy your own from any drugstores near you.

Sexy 2-Piece bikini huh? It has embroidered flowers and sequins on the unpadded cups. The top ties in the back. Then there’s an applique on the left hip while the right hip ties it all together. Gorgeous isn’t it?. Available in sizes S. M, L and XS. It used to be $89.95 but is now on sale for $14.95. Oh My Gosh!

To tell you the truth this 2-piece bikini just inspired me to work-out again..LOL. So as soon as this is posted, I’ll be doing some weights, abs work and squats while I watch my Soaps. How’s that for a motivation?

Hawaiian Tropic Sunblock Oil Free Faces SPF 30

Hawaiian Tropic Sunblock Oil Free Faces SPF 30 is what I have been using as a sunscreen for my face. I have combination oily and sensitive skin and Hawaiian Tropic Sunblock Oil Free Faces SPF 30 is what I’ve discovered worked for me. I think it was 2003 when I first found it at the Commissary in Upstate New York. I haven’t used anything else ever since.

I like it coz it’s light and non-greasy. It doesn’t make me feel all cakey or sticky even with my make-up on. It also has a mild scent which I prefer when it comes to sunscreen.

SRP is almost $9 but for me it’s worth spending a little bit more when it comes to sunscreen. Right now it’s on sale at Drugstore.com for $7.47. If you prefer light, non-greasy and mild scent with SPF 30 for your face sunscreen I recommend Hawaiian Tropic Sunblock Oil Free Faces.

This Lauren by Ralph Lauren White Linen Skirt is a perfect skirt for Summer. I’ve been on a hunt for Summer skirts but I haven’t had much luck yet until I saw this. I love the pleats. Except it’s only available in size 12. Great sale price though. $9.99 from it’s original price of $139. Honey, that’s a STEAL!

Kenneth Cole white denim cropped jean for $17.77 from Macy’s. It’s less than $20, it’s white, it has hem zip vents therefore you have an option to unzip then cuff ‘em. Perfect for Summer with flip-flops or a pair of wedges. It would go with any tops too. Either a ‘beater or a smocked. Since it’s a solid white color, you can play it up with colored tops or printed blouses. Very versatile and in case you missed it, it’s a Kenneth Cole for less than $20. It comes in sizes 4-6-8-10-12. GO!

SIL Fashionista : Summer White Dress W/ Brown Accents

Yup, that’s MOI, wearing one of my new white summer dresses. Like I said, I wouldn’t be a bona fide bargain fashionista if I don’t show you my own stylish bargains adorning my body. I wouldn’t want you guys to think I’m just taking pictures of shopping haulages then turn around and sell them on Ebay, LOL . Well unless of course I don’t like it or it doesn’t fit me . Anyhooo, the white dress is from WalMart, for $13.

Marbled beads necklace, $1 from a flea market. Brown wide bangle bracelet from WalMart, $4.99 I think. I’ve had it for yeas so I can’t remember now. I apologize. I’m pretty sure it’s less than $5 though. I need to buy a new watch to adorn my left wrist but until then I’m been wearing bracelets so I don’t feel naked on that wrist. This wood strand is $1. Cylinder gold earrings from Claire’s. A free gift from when my daughter had her ears pierced. YAY. Mossimo 2-toned brown and black wedge from TARGET, $12.

The overall cost of this summer white dress with brown accents ensemble is $31.99.

This Fashionista Momma Went Shopping, Part 1

You’d didn’t think just because I didn’t have a fashion for less blog for a month that I would stop shopping, did you? I hope not coz that’s certainly not what a sane shopaholic does. At least not this bargain shopaholic anyway . Let’s just say I’ve been collecting and was just waiting for the right time to unveil my haulage of goodies for when Style It Less is ready for her close-up. Well that day has come so buckle your seats while I show you my bargains, part 1. Uh huh!

When my husband was looking for a comfortable work shoes he couldn’t make up his mind. We went to different stores but to no avail. Well, for him anyway. I was another story. I found stuff for myself(and the kiddos). What can I say, I can’t say NO to SALES .

From CATO : White Cropped Pants, $12.99, Patterned Ruched Blouse, $7.99

Oh how I LOVE this white cropped pants. My derriere looked really nice in it . The blouse on the other hand though is a little tricky. It looks so big on me. Almost matronly actually. I’m thinking of maybe wearing a wide belt with it. I refuse to give it up coz I really like the ruched sleeves and the ruched V-neck. I just have to be creative somehow to make it work.

From WalMart : Summer White Dress, $13

The keyhole ring on the back and wood beads accentuating the straps are just SEXY. And I love how the dress flows fluidly in my body. No bumps whatsoever, heh.

Watch out for pictures of me wearing these bargains, of course .
